Deville Coffee — Restaurant in Calgary

Deville is a great local cafe chain with great food, friendly staff, and generally good coffee; now sourced from local rosterie, Rosso Coffee Roasters.

The new City Centre location is no different, and Deville offers more than some cafes with a complete breakfast and lunch menu, a wide variety of sweets, and beer and wine available.

Coffee experts will enjoy Deville's offerings, which (using the Rossi beans mentioned previously) is crafted with a bit more of a 'bite' than more subdued offerings from nearby Monogram or Phil and Sebastian cafes. Coffee purists (snobs?) have noted that this particular location uses an automated machine that, despite its high-tech abilities, seems to result in a bit more quality variation than the good ole' manual machines- possibly just due to barista disconnection from the process.

This location features a modern, clean, and attractive layout with plenty of potential for business chatter over caffeine- expect steady customer traffic from opening until mid-afternoon, but be aware that this location is open Monday-Friday only!

Such a lovely environment, it's very open and spacious, with a cute little loft it's perfect for coffee dates or business meetings. The staff are super friendly too! I completely messed up and assumed a vanilla latte would be a London Fog but it was a coffee latte and I unfortunately don't drink coffee. I was willing to accept my mistake and purchase a new drink but wanted to make sure the coffee didn't go to waste so I asked the staff if any of them would like to drink it.
