Ok, so full disclosure. I told the owner I would review his venue if asked. First of all, I have walked past this restaurant on many trips around the +15 as I work nearby. A colleague suggested lunch there as they have vegetarian options. The menu boards are very clear to read and so cool. They remind me of old train boarding screens. I decided to get a bacon cheese burger since it was my first visit. You pay at front and are given a notification coaster. I bought a fountain coke, so I took a glass next to where I stood and filled. Nice and cold, ahhh refreshing. During lunch, this location is busy. Tables along the windows and 2 in the middle of the alley from front to back. We sat down and waited. About 10 mins, my coaster went off. I realised I had to get up and go maybe 5 ft to pick up my order. Sorry, I didn't take pics of my meal, I was distracted by work conversation before I realized I ate my meal before taking pics' but it looked and tasted great. It came with chips on the side. Ok' so here is a suggestion for you. I didn't realise it came with a sweet bbq sauce. Remember, if this is not your preference to ask for it to be excluded or ask for another option like mayor ketchup. Mustard, etc. It tasted great otherwise, and the bacon is slightly thicker than other locations right across the top of the beef. Very little juice dripping out of my burger, so it's not very messy. My colleague had a vegan type burger if I recall correctly, and his took a few extra minutes. The owner came by yo ask how my meal was, and I was honest and told him I wasn't a fas myself of the bbq sauce, but hey, I should have asked, and I didn't. I told him otherwise I loved the burger and would come back to try other options and photograph my meal for you all to see.
Thank you for a nice lunchtime meal. I greatly appreciated the interest in how my meal was. See you sometime soon.
Note this location is right next to Jugo Juice bit fornthe life pf me I can't remember the name of the building. It's on south side of street across from...
Read moreI just had an awesome experience here at the Holy Grill in Bow Valley Square. I ordered through SKIP for pickup, but I messed up and ordered from the wrong location. I showed up even though the order didn't show up as ready yet, and after a few minutes stood next to the pickup counter while taking a work meeting on the phone. One of the guys giving out the food (seems to be "the main guy") asked my if I had been taken care of. I showed him my order, he noticed the mistake and told me he'd remake it for me. He called the other location and explained what happened.
In a couple of minutes he had my order ready and even got the "no onions, add provolone" request right, and confirmed with me as he was handing it over... Which many people at other places often mess up, even without the whole craziness with my wrong order.
So happy with the...
Read moreNow, I've had alot of food from Holly grill and it's all top notch, 5/5 food. But this roast beef paining wrap with au jus and a side chips... mouthwatering. These sandwiches are one my favorites to order anywhere and alot of places are and have been disappointing but NOT here. This is the best roast beef prime rib I have ever tasted and I've ate alot of them. Wow, you can tell the meat is good, high quality meat and nothing is ever soggy. Cooked perfectly, juicy meat, au jus is delicious, chips are crispy. 10/10 holy grill is really the only place I when I want a high quality burger/sandwich without a...
