I placed my order at 5:10PM online. It is now 7:10PM and I have not received my order. I placed a phone call to Freemans on Quinpool at 6:15PM to ask the status of my order. I was told at this time it was out on delivery with a driver. I waited until 6:45PM to then call back and ask once again what the status of my order was. This is when I was told that they sent the order to the Fairview location, and that I need to call Fairview to figure it out. I asked to speak with a manager at this time and was put on hold for another 5 or 6 minutes. At this point I decided to 3-way the Fairview location into my phone call with Quinpool. The Fairview location picked up the phone, had to take my order again because apparently they did not receive it in the first place, and are now sending it free of charge. It took another 5 minutes to arrange this, meanwhile the elusive manager of Quinpool had yet to pick up the hold (to be honest I don't think they ever answered). I had to call back and complain and I was told sorry and not offered anything. Fairview had to fix Quinpools problem. Worst customer service I have received in a long time. Talk about passing the buck for your problem. Will be calling Fairview direct from now on, beware ordering online is apparently not...
Read moreI went to Freeman’s quinpool today and ordered for a pizza for takeout. I thought I will have a drink while I wait for the pizza. The bar attendant was a lady. She had a look on her face when she saw me. She came up to me asked for a piece of ID. I gave her my Nova Scotia driving license. She was staring on it for 5 minutes and then she left and came with a book which had photos of valid photo IDs. She the tried to peel on the ID. Since she was not convinced, I showed two of my credit cards for name verification, my Indian passport digital copy and electricity bill. Still she was not convinced and she said “ I don’t know why the ID looks weird but it’s fine”. I stopped her and told her it was fine and I don’t want to drink anymore.
I felt really bad and I wished I had ordered pizza from Dominos than from this racist place. Actually it’s not the place, it’s some people. I used to come here often to celebrate my weekends and birthdays. I feel really bad for all this and wished everyone treats everyone equally.

Read moreI stopped by Freeman's as it was next to my hotel and I needed a meal after the drive from Fredericton.
The pizza was great, very nostalgic. While the crust was somewhat unique to what I'm used to, it was crispy and one of my favourites. The nostalgia came in through the sauce. It tasted like what I remember Pizza Hut tasting like 25 years ago, but overall much better as the crust wasn't soaked in grease. Also having the option to double your glass of wine for 2.99 was great and so I ordered their house red which could have used a bit more depth of flavour, but it was still wonderful after a long drive.
The donair taquitos though were just alright. I would have preferred a better meat:cheese. The cheese overpowered the donair meat. I did like the shell though. The server was nice, but could have been a bit more attentive. The atmosphere and design of the place was also nice and while I didn't participate, they do have a trivia night which I'm always a fan of. I'll be going back to try other items next time as their menu has a...
