Yikes....

As someone who reviews restaurants 2-3 times a week, all year around, I've tried this location 3 times and never again.....

The food is "ok" but bland, and the prices are INSANE.

Let me compare for you....

Their competitor nearby has the BEST chowder in the city and they charge $18 for a MASSIVE bowl with fresh bread. I buy it often.

Today I decided to try from a new spot, despite the fact that the price was double!...

So I ordered the chowder with bread and this is what I got for $34.... 🙈 (with delivery it came to $50)

The bread is burnt, tiny and ROCK HARD. even dipping it in the soup didn't make it any better.

The chowder is bland and tastes more like flour than fish.

But worst of all, the bowl is the size of my first and only took 10 bites to finish. It's approximately 1 cup of soup for $50 !!!!! And it tastes like a beginner tried making chowder for the first time

Lastly, there was only one tiny piece of fish in the entire bowl (see photo) and the rest is poorly cooked veggies, no other seafood. So basically, I paid $50 for a 1 inch piece of fish.

Super embarrassing and should be removed from the menu...

New (ish) spot with lots of potential. Last night I wanted to try a few of their offerings, so I ordered the Seared Tuna Tacos, battered chicken wings with sriracha mayo, and a mac n' cheese. Having now tasted all 3, here's my verdict: Tuna tacos were excellent, and exactly what I was hoping for. Good combination of flavours, beautiful presentation. 10/10 taco. The Mac n' cheese is exactly as advertised. "Comfort food." It's an incredibly basic mac n' cheese, simple cheese sauce, a few breadcrumbs, and macaroni. Nothing innovative about it, but tasty. The fried chicken wings had so much potential, and I wish they were a little better. They were battered perfectly, great texture, but I think there was soy sauce in the sriracha mayo, and the wings themselves were salty, so combined it resulted in too much salt for my taste. A level of saltiness where you have to keep drinking water while you eat the wings.

Overall: good job guys, I'll definitely order from you again and try some new menu items out. If you reduce the salt in your wings recipe, I think it'll make for the perfect wings! Just my...

I ordered via doordash, my food is fresh and hot and absolutely delicious. I had the seafood chowder and the Montreal smoked meat sandwich with fries.

The seafood chowder was spectacular, with very very generous amount of seafood, there were large scallops, a large amount of lobster with meat from the claw, shrimp and haddock. It was seasoned perfectly, veg was cooked just right, and every bite had the right amount. I couldn't have asked for more.

The sandwich was awesome, fresh and high quality, it was exactly what I was craving. A bit much sauerkraut for me but that's a super easy fix and most people I know would think it was the perfect amount. Fries were shoelace style skin on which went with the sandwich really well and the deep fried pickle it came with was fantastic.

10/10 for sure, it was exactly what I wanted and I can't wait to try more of the menu, I will absolutely be recommending this...

I ordered takeout from this restaurant, and unfortunately, I had a very unpleasant experience. When I received my food, I discovered that the bread included in the meal was moldy. What’s worse is that I had already eaten half of it before noticing. Shortly after, I started feeling nauseous and bloated, which raised serious concerns about the restaurant’s food safety and hygiene standards. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this place to others. I believe food safety should be a top priority for any restaurant, and clearly, something went wrong here. I also intend to report this incident to the relevant health authorities to ensure appropriate follow-up. I hope the restaurant takes this seriously and improves their quality control.

We went to this restaurant as the menu looked good. I think the place could benefit from more servers. The chicken strips were subpar. I think they forgot to bread it or something. The Philly cheesesteak pizza did not have the Philly cheese provolone or creamy cheese factor that I was looking for. We sat beside a dad who was yelling at his kids and disciplining them in public so loud that it made us very uncomfortable. We tried to leave right away but unfortunately the servers were too busy to get it in a timely manner. Overall I wished we ate elsewhere after the whole experience. The food was subpar. The atmosphere was terrible. The service was alright.
