I have been a customer of the World Tea House for nearly a decade. I walked in the first time very much as a tea novice. I was just starting to discover teas, and was amazed by the offered selection. I loved going in, smelling the samples and the shelves and picking the tea I was going to discover that day.
I loved even more the chats I had with Phil. Phil is passionate about what he does, and it was a pleasure getting to learn more about the teas, where they came from, how to prepare them and all the lore and knowledge he shared with me during my numerous hours spent at the tea house!
I moved away from Nova Scotia 7 years ago, yet am still a regular customer of the World Tea House, and have recommended their teas to all my friends and families. Many have ordered and agreed with me that they are some of the best teas you can find out there, hands down! The quality of the teas, the balance of the flavors, everything is exquisite! Read moreThe World Tea House has been my number one tea shop for years now. You can walk in and chat with Phil about anything tea, as well as his experiences exploring and sourcing the very teas that sit on his shelves.
I carry around a few types in mason jars most of the time. I like to get people to smell them before I brew up a blend to share. The quality of Phil's products are hands down the best teas I have ever come across. they are organic, fair trade and have no synthetic fragrances or flavours. i constantly recommend The world Tea house to people when the topic of Tea comes up.
The vibe at the shop is totally it's own. Wonderful place to hang out and relax. I feel like a valued member of this tea house's community, and you won't find that when you walk through just any business' doors.
Keep doing what you do Phil!

Once the pandemic settles down I hope to see events here as this can easily be a community hub. Kudos to the owners for their bravery and conviction - we will come here instead of our usual store bought...
