I was so happy to see Kokoro Ramen open in my neighborhood. After 3 weeks of soft opening I finally decided to pop in. I heard nothing but praise about the Kokoro Ramen in Vancouver. The hand drawn neon signs on the windows were still there reminding me they were still on soft opening . The place was really hopping. Many tables were dirty and I saw there was only one girl serving. I opted for take out. I ordered Goyza and Regular Ramen. She gave me my order and I drove home ... I was tired and hungry and it was a cold blustery day. Yes even for Kelowna. I got home ... no Goyza. I ate the Ramen and thought I would just call them as I did not feel like venturing back out. No phone number!? I did go back ... this poor gal was still running around... there wasn't a clean table that I could see There was one cook in the kitchen...basically they've been left on their own ... and slammed all day. The server was genuinely sorry. She was not in the position or experience to right the wrong for me. I've attached the burnt and greasy Goyzas I was left with. Come on guys! You've put alot of effort into getting this thing up and running. Make an impression! Staff up! Wow us! Or for the very least know how to deal with a customer and future client by righting the wrong!!

Having enjoyed Kokoro Ramen in downtown Vancouver, I was thrilled to finally visit their Kelowna location, and it did not disappoint. The moment I walked in, I was greeted by a warm, friendly atmosphere. The staff here is incredibly welcoming, and the vibe is just perfect for a casual meal with friends. We all decided to try the Mazesoba, which is by far my favorite dish. The flavors were rich and satisfying, with the noodles perfectly complemented by the mix of savory sauces and toppings. What sets it apart, though, is the unique step of mixing in rice once you finish the noodles. It’s a delicious way to enjoy the last bit of the dish and soak up all the remaining flavors—definitely something you have to try. For drinks, I couldn’t resist ordering a Matcha Latte. It was perfectly balanced—not too sweet, just the right amount of creaminess. I enjoyed it so much that I ended up ordering a second one! Overall, Kokoro in Kelowna is a must-visit for anyone craving authentic, flavorful ramen in a relaxed, friendly setting. The food is bursting with flavor, the service is excellent, and the experience is definitely worth repeating.

Easily the worst takeout experience I've ever had. Tldr: they forgot to make my pick up order. After making me wait, they forgot to add items to my ramen, and served raw chicken. Will never be going back.

Placed an order for pickup through skip, the restaurant took a while to confirm the order, but eventually did. I arrived at the restaurant just after the expected pick up listed on skip. I stood at the host stand for a couple minutes, no one greeted me or came over, so I moved further into the restaurant and stood in front of the bar/opening to the kitchen, where I was ignored by a couple workers.

I wandered around the restaurant for a second, wondering if there was anyone available to help me before heading back to the bar and someone finally came out. I told them the name for the order, and they seemed confused. Pointing me to other orders (not mine), and scrolling through their POS, listing other orders that were again not mine. After I showed them my order information, the employee went "ohhh..." And mentioned it would be another 5 or 10 minutes. The worker then turned around and asked the kitchen if they had the ingredients to make my order, that they had already confirmed on skip. They then asked the kitchen to make my order.

The obviously forgot my order.

Might I add the restaurant was dead at this time. There was three tables, and in the 15-20 mins I was inside the restaurant I didn't see one server check on the tables. One patron even got up himself and asked to pay his bill.

They finally packaged my order, and off I went. When I unpacked the order at home, both orders of ramen were missing soft boiled egg. And it gets worse. The chicken was raw, they obviously rushed the order and didn't cook it properly. Thankfully this was realized before any of it was eaten, but it was close.

Every part of this visit was terrible, and I would never spend another cent at...

Atmosphere good Food mediocre ramen wise. Service terrible! Disorganized chaos After putting our name down for a table the hostess kept calling names that had already been seated.

Finally got a table for two and sat for 43 min waiting to place our order for drinks and or food. Ended up getting up from the table and asking someone to order. They said yeah sure and left us sitting and waiting for another 10 mins as we saw her attending other tables. Waited 43 mins for our food.

As we sat there waiting to take our order or waiting for our food looking around its was pure and utter chaos.

People were waiting at the front for their names to be taken down and no one was helping them the hostess decided she wanted to be a server instead. We saw no word of a lie over 10 people walk out from the waiting area and people who have already been seated and not served

Hostess decided to be servers no rhyme or reason no sections just chaos and so disorganized!

A manager came over to our table and asked us is there something we needed and we replied yes we are waiting for our food. When our food came out it was cold and flavorless. I asked for hot chili oil to add spice or flavor and they told me that don’t have any hot chili oil just chili flakes.

Either way I know they are new but honestly get some form of organization Hostesses can take names, seat people, bring water and clean tables Servers take orders bring out food and closes out tables Not everyone trying to...
