Grateful. On Thursday night the McDougal Fire hopped across the Okanagan Lake into Kelowna and immediately the fear settled in. I remember watching the fire spread through Glenmore and witnessing the trees candle right in front of my eyes at 2 am and by Friday morning we were on evacuation orders. We immediately left the house (some still in our pajamas) and headed downtown and found shelter at my workplace’s office. It was a very stressful weekend but the community support was unbelievable. Pretty Not Bad opened their doors and provided hot meals on the house to evacuees. The staff was so supportive, they just wanted to help no questions asked. Speaking of hot meals, their food was incredible. Each one of us got something different and we shared it among us and everything was delicious. I personally loved the “Russian Roulette” the ghost pepper sauce had the perfect amount of kick to it without burning your mouth after. We had one member of our household who stayed back to look after our furry friends (we have one cat and one dog) and they even packed us a sandwich to go for her. I can’t put into words, how grateful I felt to have that support and been offered such a great meal. Honestly, thank you! Amazing Food, Amazing People and Amazing Atmosphere! What a great addition to the Kelowna community.

We made a reservation for 7:45 on Google, but when we got there, they did not honor the reservation and said their system is not working. We had to wait for 45 minutes to get a table right by the washroom doors. To make things even worse, they got our order wrong. In total, we were there for an hour and waited for 30min for someone to check on us so I could let them know they got our order wrong, but after waiting for 30 minutes, I gave up and just eat what was in front of me 😅 The pizza was great. I ordered apple Cider, and it was delicious, but the service was so bad that I left feeling so frustrated and not valued as a customer 😔 I'm not sure if I will go back or not. I loved the food, but ooohh, my god, I'm not ready to go through that kind of service again 😅😅😅

So awesome! We just had our second meal here and loved the experience both times! The tuna nachos were light and fresh- the perfect summer snack. Brilliant reinvention of the nacho! We also tried the mushroom pizza, which was packed with local mushrooms, arugula, roasted garlic and deliciousness! Highly recommend both dishes! The renovation looks amazing, I love all the art, cool sneakers, and attention to detail in the decor! Even the bathrooms are fun! I painted a couple murals for the stage area, and was mega stoked to see an incredible band perform on the stage during the launch party weekend! Great service from all the staff! Big beer selection, so many creative snacks to try! We will be back again soon!

Went on the second day of the Christmas reopening at around 9pm. Pretty not good.

Called ahead and was able to get a table within 30 mins which was good, but parking was not great. We had to park 2 blocks over as the restaurant is on the corner of an apartment complex.

Upon being seated, the Christmas decorations were quite nice to look at. But it was hard to hear the person directly across from me due to how loud it was in there.

We were walked past by our waitress consistently due to the poor restaurant layout and lack of server awareness. There was very little communication between the waitstaff.

Drinks on other tables looked good. We had a basic iced tea and waters, however the iced tea was nothing special, same as everywhere else and the water had a strange taste.

Now to the food. At 9pm, the menu changes to 'dinner' where you only get about 8 options. I had the Shaq ribs and paid an extra 5 dollars for a half rack. My partner ordered curly fries and a pretzel. Ribs were tasty but served luke warm, the curly fries had very little taste and were also on the cold side, and that has to be the saddest pretzels I've ever seen. It was the typical 'soft pretzel' heated from frozen to piping hot served with pizza sauce and grated cheddar cheese. No forks or knives were given for this single pretzel that was $7.

Overall I don't think I'll ever go back, other than to look at the decorations. Highly recommend looking at other restaurants...

We went to PNB this last Sunday and it was the 2nd time we attempted to eat there. The first time was last fall when we arrived shortly after opening and stood at the hostess desk waiting to be seated. We left after 10 minutes since we were not even acknowledged as being there. On Sunday we were seated quickly on the deck and brought water. After 30 minutes of being ignored, I flagged down the hostess asking for service. To which she replied, “You mean no one has been to your table?” Which seemed to me was fairly obvious since we still had menus. She said she would go get a server. The place was approximately half full. We waited another 10 minutes and watched the servers go past our table multiple times and open up the glass doors between the restaurant and patio instead of taking our order. We gave up and left. The hostess made a face to one of her coworkers when we walked past her. To their credit, the owner or manager caught up to us in the parking lot with a $50 gift certificate that we gave to someone else. Unfortunately, 2 strikes and we are out. Maybe they will have better luck. We have never walked out of a restaurant before, let alone twice in the same place. We ended up going to Canadian Brewhouse where we had drinks on the table and our orders taken within 15 minutes. We wish them luck in the highly competitive Kelowna...

This place was recommended by a local for great pizza. The place was hopping. It was a 40 min wait for a table which is fine, but right away we were seated inside when we specifically asked for a patio table when we put our name in to wait. Our server was awful. He gave us warm water, forgot one of our group members drinks, and didn’t come back for another 20 mins or so to take our order. We ordered an appetizer and a large pizza, which tasted decent. Not amazing, but good. Another server was going table to table asking about who ordered an appetizer. I think she found the right people after three tables. Then she came back and tried to give us a second order of our appetizer which we finished 10 mins prior and did not order another. When it was time to pay, we waited around for another 20 mins or so until the server came back. He chatted with us while we paid and one of our group members was in mid sentence answering his question when he grabbed the machine, turned around, spoke with another server momentarily, and walked away without another word to us. Honestly, it would have been fine if the service was decent. The server honestly should be fired. He was so disrespectful, and we wanted to ask for his tip back right away. No one in the section was happy with him by the looks on everyone’s faces. Decent food,...
