We stumbled on this place strolling through Tremblant and what a brilliant surprise it was! Beautifully decorated with a vintage-modern vibe, a.mano just has a really lovely feel to it! Getting straight to the food, we saw tonnes of captivating dishes on tables, so when we got the menu, picking something to eat was tough! The bruschetta for starter was fantastic. The bread was a perfect balance of crunchy and fresh, piled high with fresh tomato and packed with flavor! For mains, starting with pasta, you can really tell they run a tight ship with the freshness of the pasta! Beautifully crafted and seasoned, it's rooted in tradition, but kept on just the right balance of modern. The pizza was the other mains, which really stole the show. Somehow the dough echoes croissant, but it's truly something special. The sauce is very traditional (I.e., not on the sweet side) and the toppings are generous without compromising on the pizza being well cooked. It stands out as one of the best I've ever had! My only comment on the restaurant is that I think they might benefit from another wine or two on their by-the-glass list. That being said, they have a lemonade cocktail that is absolutely magnificent for a summer meal on the patio. They also have a big selection of wines, and plenty by the bottle for special occasions. Overall, while this is a step up on the price range from other Italian restaurants, it's worth every cent. The staff are friendly and efficient, the restaurant has a wonderful atmosphere, and the food is truly memorable. It's just as well suited for a romantic date night as it is a family outing. Absolutely magic.

Really not impressed with the food and service at A Mano. We went here saturday night of the long weekend we had dinner reservations for 6 pm. We were planning to stay a while getting drinks and food for our friends bachelorette we were a group of 10 aka we are spending money… Everyone got drinks, pitchers and food so the table brought in enough money. The server Nicholas was very pushy in wanting us to order right away kept coming back and pestering us. My friend and myself got the fettuccini a la vodka add chicken. When I received my dish, I was wondering where the other half of the pasta was? for my pasta dish that was half a dish big didn’t come with bread and one drink costed me 62$ with tip. The pasta was very bland, nothing special, the chicken was an extra 9$!!!! and didn’t even come cut up inside the pasta dish i had to cut it and mix it myself. Then we had some girls still drinking their sangria and the pitchers were halfway done and he says i’m not trying to rush you guys but i have a table coming for 8. He rushed us out even after we paid he came and grabbed the glasses from our table literally making us feel rushed out. I would never go back there for the price and feeling rushed the whole time the atmosphere wasn’t what we hoped for and the service sucked. Food wasn’t anything special and overpriced.

The most horrible organization and staffing I have seen. We arrived at 2pm to make a reservation and were told they don’t make reservations. We showed back up at 6:10 to a line of 3 groups of 3-5 ppl ahead. We waiting until 6:30 until we saw any staff approach the door when we learned that the first group ahead was a family of 30. Then the hostess called the family up and we were surrounded by the family, but they were not seated until 6:44. We then were not approached by staff until 6:53 where we were told it would be 30-40 MORE minutes until we could be seated. We left. At no point were any group other than the group of 30 spoken to by staff and so no warning of the wait was told. There are plenty of empty tables, the photo attached is of the patio when there is a wait 30-40 minute wait. Over half empty. If a restaurant will take a 30 person impromptu group they should be staffed to fill the restaurant at least. As someone who works in service and believes in good custom service my advise is to educate staff on communication. Had we been spoken to or addressed throughout the process of the wait ahead we could have been informed to choose to wait or not. Not speaking with any of the 20+ customers in line created only added frustration that could have easily been avoided.

We had great expectations and hopes for this new addition to the village, with positive feedback from neighbours and friends, since the opening in the fall. Unfortunately we left very disappointed. I am not usually phased by delays, etc, but tonight, I left upset and could not eat my food, taking the paid meal to go, as soon as finally served, 2 hrs after being seated. Unfortunately when we vocalized our concerns over 1hr after ordering, the approach and result failed. We received our mains 1hr45min after order, no bump in kitchen priority, no refills on our requested drinks. Bad customer service management. If you wish to know more … read on.

We tried to make a reservation for Saturday, but I was told no need that 5:45/6pm arrival should have lots of space. She was right, only about 7 tables seated at our arrival of 5:50pm. We ordered food right away with our drinks, since we had 2 kids with us (7,10), and requested their food with our apps. Unfortunately we still had no food at 7:10pm. The restaurant got busy quickly after 6:30pm. We asked our server what was up, as we saw tables that arrived/ordered after us with food, and were told we were bumped for other tables, and they apologized for this, and that our apps would be 10 minutes. We were offered coffee/tea and dessert if we stayed. We just wanted to eat the food ordered. Thankfully our kids’ food arrived at 7:25pm, shortly followed by our apps. Main courses arrived at 7:45pm; no expediting, no advancement, rather our orders appeared to enter the existing cue (didn’t help that we were seated near kitchen in full view). Our water was never refilled as requested and our 3rd drink order was never delivered d (happily not on final bill).

I am not sure what went wrong for us, as the food that did arrive was delicious, and many were in/out before we were fed; but the service and client care management needs lots of work!

I am sorry to say I won’t be back, as this experience was deeply disruptive and I will not be recommending the restaurant to family and friend visiting the area. Perhaps an earlier arrival would have...

This place is a tourist trap .

We were a group of 7 for dinner the kids wanted pasta and pizza so we came here. As a fan of pizza and pasta myself having eaten in many excellent Italian restos I can say objectively that A Mano is probably one of the worst and here's why

  1. the portion of pasta was flat out insulting considering the high cost. Now I understand that haute cuisine doesn't focus on quantity, rather quality is the aim. Well, the quality was that comparable to chef boyardee and I'm not even kidding. We ordered plain old spaghetti Bolognese with meatballs. The tomato sauce tasted like it came out of a can and the meatballs were very salty and I like salt. Not to mention they were very firm not like the spaghetti noodles which were the furthest thing from al dente. They tasted gummy... First time experiencing that. Nuf said about the pasta.

  2. The lamb was poorly cooked the person who ate it ended up with a nice big raw piece of garlic in her mouth which tells me one thing. There was no marination of the lamb prior to cooking it. The garlic was thrown in ( raw) as an attempt to flavor the meat. Attempt failed.

3)The pizzas were okay. Not great, not particularly good either. The teens enjoyed the pepperoni and cheese pizzas they had. Fair enough

4)The adults had the americana I believe. They barely had enough sauce on them and the toppings were scarce. The crust was good but again over 30$ a pizza, you need to do better. A lot better. 5) the Ceasar salad was kinda mushy. Lettuce was on the soft side and had way too much dressing on it. Instead the focus was a piece of grilled lemon on the side , an attempt at art... But this resto staple which can be so easily executed failed miserably

Our waiter was ok, nothing less nothing more. I don't recall him returning to the table after a few bites to ask us how we were enjoying our food . In the end we left the place feeling like a bunch of suckers who just got duped. I don't mind paying for food but this was painful

I honestly don't get why there are many good reviews. Next time we go to tremblant we will...

We went in lunch and it was great service by Asian guy. We liked food so we went for Dinner as well. First young girl who took us to sit at table were very mean and very unprofessional behavior. We were sited at dirty table. They didn’t clean for 15 min then we called someone to clean but the girl who took us outside patio were cleaning other table.then lady came to serve water we told her for menu but she didn’t give it. We ask other Asian guy to bring it. Then he bring the Manu. After that But waitress were didn’t bother to attend us. She came to take order after half hour after menu was given to us after 40 min. They serve 2 customer who came after us. Then after 2 hours of waiting main course arrived first and then appetizer. Pizza was not cooked properly. Brusetta was burned. Waitress who served us was very discriminated . She was asking if anything needed after meal serve. But she didn’t bother to ask us once. Then we were done with our food and we had scheduled show to attend but she didn’t bother to bring check. We walked up to her and asked for check. We were very disappointed with customer service. We travel world but never got this discriminated customer service. Waitress were giving good service to all French people . Anyway at last after waited long ate burnt and not well cooked pizza we were very angry. My husband dicided to giver her small amount of tip which she totally not deserve it. She sarcastically laughed and said this much tip? Oh really ? Wow? And I said the way u give us customer service this what u get. This is the worst customer service in our life. I will never go back and tell all my friends and family not to...
