I went to Opening Day 2023 to support the hill. I walked around and went through the stores. I wanted to celebrate with a special hot chocolate on the Tremblant Hill, as I remembered as a child. The cafe was not the ski hill vibe you would expect from a world renowned ski hill. Not enough seating, asking families to share their table for single patrons. An interior designer would have a field day to renovate this exclusive space to accommodate patrons who spend quite a bit of money to ski and stay at the hill. The cafe as it presents itself with large and multiple plants, you would expect to see at your grandmas house, is well enough for a small town not a ski resort . Witnessed 15 people in 20 mins leaving because there was not enough seating. The bathroom needs updating and a deep cleaning. Food stored on the ground in a traffic walkway to the bathroom. This is 2023 why does the Alterra Mountain Company not take a look through their merchants to make sure they represent the vibe they are selling. I do apologize for the blunt comments. I travel and ski the world full time and Tremblant is where I learned to ski over 50 years ago, needless to say they have a special place in my heart. The cafe needs an updated ski theme and menu. The staff are overly friendly which in some cases means they are over compensating for...
Read moreIt is unfortunate how unfriendly and unwelcoming the service is at this little, cute café. The manager stopped one of the employees from providing their wifi password saying it was out of service. And it doesn’t help that the baked goods (I ordered the chausson aux pommes) is nothing out of the ordinary and overpriced. The only thing good was the coffee, albeit a little over priced. I ordered 2 cups and a bakery item. I was about to order lunch but was asked (quite rudely) to leave as they had to serve their lunch crowd. What crowd, there were still tables available when I left? Maybe it was the rainy day that cut their tables to only 1/4 that stressed them. If they were a little nicer and more welcoming with their service, they would be more busy, successful and less frustrated. Not recommended for the...
Read moreTerrible food and terrible service. We were visiting Mont Tremblant and we were a group of six people. My mom went inside to grab napkins as they did not give us any when they served us our food outside.
Because there were six of us, my mom grabbed seven napkins and the lady at the cashier scolded her and said she’s only to take one.
When my mom tried to explain it wasn’t just for her but for our whole family, the lady proceeded to tell her she wasn’t allowed to do that.
What restaurant limits or gate keeps napkins?!?
The food was incredibly bland and made cheaply. We paid almost $50 dollars for two sandwiches (nothing special just cheese and two thin slices of bread) and two “smoothies.”
Would not recommend this place, however, im not surprised as most food places in Mont Tremblant were overpriced and...
