It's becoming harder and harder to find a quality restaurant that cares about what they serve. We were looking forward to a family gathering here but unfortunately, the food tasted really bad and was disappointing. It was not an enjoyable experience especially since Montreal is known for good food. Avoid the Ghormeh sabzi at all costs if you do end up going it's full of kidney beans and tastes horrible. They should just take it off the menu completely because they don't know how to cook it and it's microwaved . Half of it was cold and the entire thing got cold after a few minutes. My daughter ended up getting food poisoning from the chicken kebab. The server looks like he really doesn't want to be there. He takes his time and did not even offer water to the table. Everyone ordered a side of yogurt and there was no bread that came with it. Definitely will not be back this was not a quality restaurant by any means

The experience I had at Asoo restaurant was beyond terrible. I ordered a specific "jigar vez", but it wasn't what I received, they served me the regular jigar. When I brought this to the attention of the server and requested a change, they agreed but ended up bringing the same dish with a hasty modification. They completely botched my order, and their attempt to fix it only made things worse. The staff's incompetence and lack of care left me shocked. It's unbelievable that a place claiming to be a restaurant could fail so miserably in providing even basic service. Stay far away from this food disaster. it's not worth the trouble!

THE BEST Persian food spot I have been to in Mtl. I’m Persian and I have never tried Persian food like this in Canada. The jigar was amazing super juicy and tender and it was served with amazing sides. The kabab bowl was so good juicy and the chicken in the bowl was a 10/10 seasoned to perfection. The rice was amazing too. The salad Shirazy was perfectly seasoned and the vegetables in the salad were cut perfectly. I don’t no why the seats are empty this resturant should be packed. Please go support them If u live in Mtl and show some love.

Well, I went here tonight with my non-persian boyfriend and we got food. There was a ridiculous amount of rice on the plate, I asked them to give us more and they did( thank you), but at the end, they told me since they thought we were foreigners they believed we ate less rice so they put less rice! What a cool and logical reason! I mean you should put the amount that you always do and not to put based on people seem to eat it or not:)))) the music was also very loud and annoying. My boyfriend said he never wants to go there again! Same about me! The other time went, the waitress was making us pay tips like we should! And it’s not even an option ! I’m actually very disappointed !! They don’t know how to...

Very very bad restaurant. Very very bad restaurant. Very small portion of food , very expensive. Very small portion. They ask you money for small vegetables near of BBQ . In general In the world inside of your dish they put vegetable near of BBQ. But in this restaurant for very small pieces of mints they charge you. Yes. The name of charge is Dorchin. They charge the people for small pieces of Mints and Onion. I think this restaurant will declare bankruptcy very soon. We paid Almost 120 dollars but we were still hungry. Very small portion oh food. And also no parking. No parking place near of restaurant. If you are looking for a bad experience you can go...
