This is the spot right here! I cannot travel to Montréal without a visit to Montréal Poutine. This was my first time visiting my fav poutine spot in Montreal during the winter season. We sat upstairs and loved it. This spot provides such a welcoming energy with wonderful staff and some good music. The music's on point as it brings you back to what some of us would consider back-in-the-day tunes from - Cindy Lauper, Boy George, George Michael (RIP), Prince (RIP), Duran Duran, and Madonna, to name a few. The ones you just find yourself singing along to. Our entire table sang a couple of times - I caught them! 😂 . My partner ordered a hot dog with his poutine one, of my friends ordered a burger, and the rest of us ordered different poutines. No one was disappointed- yessss! The worst is when you big up a restaurant and your peeps are like, next! That is not the case here at Montréal Poutine because the food is on point! Best poutine in Montréal, in my humble opinion. This visit on March 5th was great, and our server (the young man who had the Jordan's on) was lovely - you would swear we knew him. But nah, just a nice human. If you have the chance to visit, please do. The vibe in the summer is even better!!! Something special about this space. If you don't believe me, make space and time for a visit! Thanks Montréal Poutine for existing. Can't wait to visit Montréal in the summer just so I can get me some smoked meat poutine! P.s. sitting down is a must because it's a vibe. In fact, a complete vibe. Go head with your ongoing yumminess Montréal Poutine! And see you soon. A customer from out of town that bigs you up...

What a wonderful experience we’ve had!

We were walking around to find a place to have a bite during New Year’s Eve and we stumbled upon this place while walking around in the rain. Right away, Eugene was very attentive to us. Made us feel at home by ensuring that our candles were lit and ensured that we got our orders in right away. Throughout the night, the staff were checking in on us, but were not too overbearing. They gave us suggestions on drinks. The food was very delicious and were amongst one of the best when we came to visit Montreal. They ended up extending the place to the patrons who have been there for a few ours already and we ended up counting down to 2023 with the staff and with the few people left in the restaurant. Emma had a shot with us and the team celebrated with each other with champagne. What a surreal experience!

The staff told us that most of them have worked all day. But you can really tell how much work they put in into the place to make sure that they are welcoming, kind, and with delicious food, offering such a great experience. You can really tell that each of them cared for each other, the patrons, and the restaurant.

We ended the night with Emma sending us off with a kind happy new year greeting accompanied with really kind words about us. We left at midnight really feeling like we celebrated the new year the best...

I was really excited to get a poutine on my way out of Montreal. Our group did take out and we went to sit in the sun, as it was cold and windy in the shaded areas. There was a table close to the bar that we sat at. The bartender instantly came over and told us we couldn’t sit there. And she wanted us to get up right away and told us that we had to go sit in the corner in the shade. Her tone and approach was very rude. Plus it was super embarrassing walking in being told in front everyone we had to get up and move. There was no line at the door… no one was waiting for a seat, so we asked why we couldn’t just sit there as we are paying customers. But we got up right away and walked over to the cold corner and stood there awkwardly. I told her she was rude and I was very uncomfortable and honestly didn’t even want to give this place my money after that. Then she had the manager come over to me who was so even ruder and said “like listen” to me and she cut me off.. honestly it was the worst experience I’ve ever had ordering take out. And she just said it’s the owners rule and blamed him.. The manager was super rude and so was the bartender outside. And… I’m in the car eating the poutine and find a huge clump of black hair in it… I will not be back here. So disappointed and I can’t even eat my food because there’s hair in it. I paid $15 for...

We found this place during our trip around Old Montreal, near Old Port. We were looking for a place to fulfill our poutine cravings. This place has two sitting locations, the upstairs quiet sitting down place and the downstairs patio/courtyard which seemed to be a little loud. We were seated upstairs by one of the attendants. Our seat had a good view of the street. We were handed the menus and we had to wait for a very long time for someone to take our orders. When we called upon the person who had us seated, we were told that he wouldn't take the order and the other lady there would come and take our orders. It wasn't until 10 more minutes until our order was taken. During ordering, we were also told that they only serve water in bottles. We ordered fried chicken poutine which took forever to come out. The poutine was good, but the quantity seemed quite less for the price. Later we wanted to order a lemonade and it took the waitress several minutes to just notice us. Also at the end, as we were getting up, the same person who had seated us, come to our seat and asked "You're done right ?" and proceeded to clean and table to seat another customer. We had very high hopes from the place and while the poutine was good, the service left a really bad taste. While I understand the place is supposed to be chilled out, basic courtesy should still apply.

Went here for lunch yesterday with cousin and my 1 year old and let me tell you... the best poutine in town is here. Curd is not chewy at all and you can tell its made freshly in house. From service, to food, to drinks to ambiance everything was 10/10. We ordered strawberry mohito and long island iced tea. Both were perfectly made. Did not feel that it was watered down. For food we got smoked meat poutine and fried chicken poutine. Both were super delicious. The quantity is amazing. From the time we entered everyone greeted us and gave us a warm welcome on a rainy day. We chose to sit in the courtyard which was such a cute setup. With big umbrellas at each table that allowed us to sit comfortably even with the light drizzle. Dave was our server. He definitely deserves a shoutout! Super friendly and chilled. We didnt feel rushed at all. He answered our questions and served our food quickly and checked in on us timely with a huge smile on his face. Keep it up Dave u r fantastic. I was told this place is now under new management. They r definitely doing a great job!! Keep it up. I will be sure to recommend this place to Everyone I know.

We’ve been trying different poutines across Montreal and Quebec City, so we opted to try this one, sitting in the heart of Old Montreal city. We chose to sit indoors instead of the patio as the sun was heavy and hot that day. We ordered one ($15.99) to share with two drinks. A peach juice and a blue raspberry slushie. ($35 taxes included) The poutine was meh average, nothing special and not at all a show stopper to write home about. The gravy tasted the same as Harvey’s poutine. Yes, I’m not proud that I’m comparing to Harvey’s gravy but Yes, I’m dead serious! The peach juice was nice and refreshing, but the slushie had a DEAD BEE crushed with the ice!! It was absolutely disgusting to find AFTER my guest finished her drink!! All they did was remove the drink from the bill and apologized. The wooden tables & chairs and dining space in the upstairs dinette was cozy and nice bright from the sun.
