Any restaurant currently being able to operate under such tight restrictions due to pandemic and able to survive, deserves compliments.

Chef Pankaj and his team have been working tirelessly throughout the pandemic to serve his customers with his delicacies. With only allowed to serve take aways for most part of pandemic to limiting only 10 customers in the restaurant which could seat 80 customers. It is not just tough for just this restaurant but any restaurant which is following regional by-laws diligently trying to keep everyone safe.

In all this the restaurant staff and Chef continues to maintain the quality of food and service. I must say if anyone expecting superior service would be considered fool. The least they can do is be thankful to the staff who is still maintaining best efforts, serving best food and still maintaining safety protocols.

I am sure there will still be people who would ignore laws of land, tour places, dine in groups and make irresponsible comments. These are some things which are out of your control so need not to worry about but stay positive.

I want to give kudos to Chef and his staff who is still maintaining the quality of food and “best effort” in service during these tough times.

Keep up the good...

Good place to be, if you are looking for some good Indian food. However, have a good amount of time at your disposal because the service is terribly slow. I am not sure if their chef ran away or they exhausted their ingredients when we visited but food wasn't just coming out of the kitchen and there was a good batch of customers waiting along with us for their orders to come. The food was good. I don't exactly recall the curries we went for but they were definitely good. The rice and daal were really nice as well. The flavors were pretty much spot on and the heat was good. Definitely the place to be for good Indian food. Service, however, was terrible, as they struggled really bad. It was a healthy half an hour wait till our first items arrived. And it was not just us but a good bunch of customers who were waiting for their orders. Having said that, the staff tried to do their best, at least in terms of managing the anxious customers as the lady was very patient and composed. The ambiance is good. Lighting is more than adequate and the place is quite spacious. They have option of booths as well as tables. Good place for large groups as well. Overall, I would definitely recommend it, assuming the service fiasco was just...

ZERO STAR!! My family had encountered the worst customer service in our life. We are so disappointed with the treatment we got from the staff of this restaurant specially from the chef (supervisor). We were being told that we will get the table in ten min after waiting for more than half an hr and then when it’s our turn to have the table it was given to other people without consulting with us. We were just being ignored only because we are group of seven and they have spot available for 4. They also knew that the other two customers will be leaving soon so they should have communicated with us that they can only offer this for now but they offered the 4 spots to other customers, who just walked in and got the place to right away. Later, we got to know from the staff that they called in so they got the spot but when we called for the reservation, they were clear that we have to come in first to book the spot. The staff didn’t apologize for what they did and tried to get rid of us by ignoring to have the conversation. I would definitely not visit this place again and would suggest everyone to do the same otherwise you will face big disappointment as we did. The staff should learn how to talk to their customer...

The picture of the empty plate I added will tell you plenty about the place. If you’re a South East Asian like me, you’ll instantly understand what I’m hinting at, For those of you who would like me to explain, here is a glimpse of our food etiquette: In South East Asian culture (irrespective of religion or ethnic background) a clean plate, i.e a plate without any food left to be thrown in garbage, is a beautiful way of complimenting and respecting the kitchen, their efforts, skill and love with which food was prepared. (Mothers’ and Grandmothers’) That’s why instead of adding the picture of food, I added the picture of an empty plate to tell you how fresh, simple yet tasty and welcoming the food was 😊 The infrastructure is very simple and basic but the food is what you’ll love. Last we visited they were using disposables to serve food and not proper dishes etc, but after all the walk, fun and recreation at The Niagara Falls, you’ll like a moment of quiet with good food at this place. Do order Thali, Shahi Paneer, Dal Makhni, Vegetable Raita and crispy butter naan that’s freshly prepared as you order…Butter was dripping all over it, was heavenly!! (I know right!😍) ✨ Hope you enjoy! ~GoExplore

This place has gone way down in quality. Paper plates. We were shocked. Our first appetizer was Aloo Tikki (fried potato patties served with multiple sauces on the side. See the Google image screenshot for reference of what it's supposed to look like. They USED to serve it like this, and it was great.) 1. They served it in a disposable bowl 2. All of the Aloo Tikki patties were piled on top of each other, with ALL of the different sauces poured on top and mixed together. We had to go fishing for the patties. 3. The patties were sitting in a pool of liquid that accumulated at the bottom. Soggy. 4. Raw onion thrown on top. And something cold. Yogurt too? It was MESSY not only in presentation, but also in taste. One giant mediocre mish mash. We waited over 30 minutes for naan then gave up waiting and cancelled the order. They never refilled our water. Paper plates all around. 3 stars because other menu items taste good. But the dining experince is a joke. And if you happen to get unlucky and order something that is as poorly mish mashed together as the Aloo Tikki was - good luck. Only reccomend takeout.

Chef of India is a fantastic dining destination for lovers of Indian cuisine. The restaurant consistently delivers flavorful dishes that capture the essence of Indian flavors. The menu is extensive, offering a wide variety of options for both vegetarians and meat enthusiasts. Each dish is prepared with care, showcasing authentic spices and ingredients. The flavors are rich and satisfying, making it a great choice for a culinary journey through India. The service at Chef of India is typically attentive and friendly, enhancing the overall dining experience. The ambiance is comfortable, creating a welcoming setting for a meal with friends or family. While it deserves a solid four-star rating, there’s always room for improvement. Occasionally, wait times during busy hours can be a bit long, but the delicious food makes it worth the wait. In conclusion, Chef of India is a must-visit for Indian food enthusiasts. It consistently offers a taste of India that’s sure to satisfy your cravings for authentic and flavorful dishes.
