We were so very excited to be dining at AG! We are big time food lovers and enjoy cooking in the kitchen ourselves and we were very eager to try what reads and looks to be delicious. We were not let down at all. Food is Michelin Star level. Rich tasting, high quality foods and ingredients uniquely put together. We enjoyed every last bite. Portions were much bigger than anticipated, which was great. We left feeling very full. Compliments to the chef.. incredible!
Our service however was…. ok. It made the overall experience less enjoyable. The young lady who was bringing food out was great, formal and knew what she needed to. Our waitress Fallon though, seemed she really didn’t know much about the food. When asked questions by ourselves, and we noticed others as well, she mostly just brushed them off with a short answer, or made up an answer on the spot, leaving the restaurant goer(s) uneducated. She was also very loud, could often hear her talking or laughing from across the restaurant. At one point the overhead music and performer were going at the same time.. nightmare!! The most upsetting part was when she came to our table saying “he sucks, he’s terrible, he’s not that good” when speaking about the musical guest. We had been very much enjoying him. She was telling us she didn’t think he fit the vibe of the restaurant. We disagreed, he was playing well known songs and slowed them down to fit the mood. She also made a statement about how he had gone to the wrong place before hand and was late showing up to perform. This felt like she was just trying to embarrass him. But, most of all this entire conversation was not one that should have been had to guests! She was telling everyone to use her name in reviews to get shifts - tacky!
We really enjoyed our food, which is what we were there for. But, we left a bummed because of our server we didn’t slow down to truly take the food experience in for what it was worth because we wanted to get away from the...

Located in the heart of downtown Niagara Falls, AG Cuisine is a delightful restaurant that masterfully combines the best of local Niagara food and wine. Our group of 13 had the pleasure of dining at their "Chef's Table," a wonderful oval table that facilitated easy conversation for everyone. Chef Cory and FOH Manager Mel were a joy to work with, and we were thrilled with our dining experience.
Ambiance: The ambiance was perfect for our large party, with live music adding to the atmosphere in a private room that felt intimate yet spacious enough for our group. The elegant setting was both welcoming and refined, making it an ideal spot for special occasions.
Service: The service at AG Cuisine was exceptional. The staff was attentive and efficient, ensuring that our food was served simultaneously—a remarkable feat for a group of 13. Their professionalism and warm hospitality greatly enhanced our dining experience.
Food: The menu showcases seasonal and locally sourced ingredients, offering dishes that celebrate classic flavors with a modern twist. A highlight of the dining experience was learning that AG Cuisine owns a working farm, with much of the produce coming directly from there. Additionally, the extensive selection of local wineries featured on the menu added a wonderful touch, highlighting the Niagara’s wineries.
The food was fantastic, with each dish beautifully plated and bursting with creativity. Everyone in our party commented on the taste and presentation, and each dish was incredible.
Overall Experience: AG Cuisine is highly recommended for anyone looking to experience the best of Niagara's culinary scene. The combination of incredible food, outstanding service, and a charming ambiance made our visit unforgettable. The staff's dedication to creating a wonderful dining experience was evident from start to finish, and we look forward...
Read moreWe came for our 35th wedding anniversary and with high expectations given the rave reviews and recommendations from a friend. Food was great and great presentation.
Server was knowledgeable and worked hard. Till we got to the end.
Any self respecting chef will or should take pride in his/her menu as well as responsibility.
We took the package a stayed at the inn as well as the 3 course meal. Only to find out about the little print at the bottom of the menu. About the extra charges, and then about the automatic gratuity, tacky.
The gratuity would have been given anyways and on a percentages basis she would have received more. But the process put a bad taste in me.
Back to the finishing of the meal, my wife asked for a cappuccino and I a latte. I asked for mine to be extra hot and to be served at the same time as my dessert. Not too much to ask.
Well the latte came first before the dessert and it was tepid and was not drinkable, I asked for it to be replaced. It's was after 10 minutes with another one just as tepid as the first. It was not drinkable either.
Later we found out that the latte comes out of a push button machine and had no temperature control. I have had a better latte from a hospital vending machine.
For a restaurant to have the ability to cater with great presentation and pricing to match, I would expect the chef and management to have invested in a decent coffee bar machine, (5k to 10k) or at least do not offer it and embarrasse yourself by putting it on the menu and calling that a latte.
What can I say, I like to finish a great meal with a nice latte. So we walked over to the local Starbucks to have my latte.
Summary read the fine print and do not order the latte.
Btw expect to pay $15.00 for parking when you stay at the inn. Tacky again, just add it to the cost of the room rather than adding it at check in.
2 star for the experience/ 4 for the meals/ 0...
