If you're in Kingston, Ontario, do yourself a favor and visit Chit Chat Cafe. From the moment you step in, you're greeted with a cozy atmosphere and friendly staff. The assortment of breakfast options, coffees, and cold drinks will surely satisfy any craving.I had the pleasure of trying their hot chocolate, which was hands down one of the best I've ever had. Pair that with a delicious breakfast sandwich, and you've got a perfect start to your day. What truly sets this cafe apart is the ambiance. It's not uncommon to see university students studying while enjoying their coffee, adding to the vibrant energy of the place. And to top it off, there was live music—a talented musician performing guitar and singing, enhancing the overall experience. Special shoutout to the staff, who not only provide excellent service but also go the extra mile to make you feel at home. They even took the time to teach us how to pronounce local street names—a thoughtful touch that adds to the charm of this cafe. Whether you're a local or just passing through Kingston, Chit Chat Cafe is a must-visit destination. Trust me; you won't be disappointed.

Found My Favorite Cold Brew… and a New Reason to Love Kingston What an amazing find on my first morning in Kingston! Chit Chat Café blew me away — the owner is incredibly warm and welcoming, taking time to share not only the menu but also local tips and even the café’s history. Her passion truly made me fall in love with Kingston. The cold brew? Hands down the best I’ve ever had in Canada — rich, smooth, and never watered down, thanks to the genius idea of using frozen coffee cubes. The burger was just as impressive: juicy, fresh, and full of flavor, with a perfectly crisped bun and bacon. This place has the kind of soul you rarely find anymore. Five stars all the way. If you’re in town, do yourself a favor: grab a cold brew, have a chat with the owner, and if you’re smart, don’t leave without a burger!

I recently visited Chit Chat Cafe, and I was thoroughly impressed! The food was absolutely delicious, with a great variety of options to choose from. Everything tasted fresh, and the flavors were spot-on. What made the experience even better was the outstanding service. The staff were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. Whether it was a recommendation from the menu or just checking in to see if we were enjoying our meal, they were attentive and helpful throughout. Definitely a place worth visiting—highly recommend!

The Epitome of Urban Charm: Chit Chat Cafe, Downtown Kingston I recently had the chance to visit the Chit Chat Cafe, a distinctive gem nestled in the heart of Downtown Kingston, and I was thoroughly delighted by the experience. This little haven of joy is not only located in an excellent part of town, making it convenient for a quick coffee or an extended lunch break, but also offers a warm and welcoming atmosphere that instantly makes you feel at home. One of the first things that strike you about Chit Chat Cafe is the ambiance - it's beautiful, homey, and brimming with energy. You are instantly enveloped in a comfortable and cozy environment that encourages you to settle in, relax, and truly enjoy your visit. The aesthetic is a charming blend of urban and rustic, creating a space that feels both modern and timeless. The staff at the cafe are a huge part of what makes the Chit Chat Cafe so special. They are exceptionally friendly, greeting every customer with a warm smile, creating a welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel like a cherished guest. They are knowledgeable, too, always ready to recommend the perfect drink or dish from their extensive menu. Speaking of the menu, Chit Chat Cafe boasts a truly spectacular lunch selection. The chefs have done an outstanding job of curating a menu that is both innovative and comforting. The ingredients are always fresh, and the dishes are prepared with the utmost care and attention to detail. Whether you're craving a hearty sandwich, a light salad, or a delicious bowl of home made soup, you'll find something to satisfy your palate here. The cafe truly shines with its range of speciality coffees and teas. From the traditional espresso to the more exotic matcha latte, the drinks menu is a delight for any coffee or tea lover. What sets Chit Chat Cafe apart is their speciality coffee add-ins. It's an adventure in a cup as they offer a variety of unique enhancements to your drink, such as syrups, specialty milks, and other intriguing additions that elevate your cup of coffee or tea to a whole new level. If you're an enthusiast who appreciates a twist on the classics, this is the place to be. And let's not forget about their locally made products. Every item in the cafe, from the baked goods to the home decor, is crafted with care and creativity. You can feel the dedication and passion in each product, making the experience all the more special. In conclusion, Chit Chat Cafe is a true gem. Its excellent location, wonderful staff, delicious food, exceptional drinks, and unique products make it a must-visit spot in Downtown Kingston. This is more than just a cafe - it's a place where good food, great drinks, and friendly chit-chat come together to create a memorable experience. Whether you're a local or a visitor, make sure you stop by - you won't be...

I'm very thankful that I decided to grab my morning coffee at the closest cafe to my hotel because I discovered what most people already know to be a gem. There's no pretension inside; when you step in, you already know it's a charming local cafe. There are two kinds of exposed brick inside, and a low loft above the counter, where there is more seating upstairs. The staff are kind without coming off as fake. Instead of a wide, customer-service smile, I had the feeling that I was enjoying the hospitality of a host who just really wanted to make sure I got what I wanted. The coffee was great, and the owner was incredibly nice. I heard that they sometimes have musicians/performers in the cafe, and I wish I could have been around to enjoy that. To my surprise, when I got into my rideshare and brought up the cafe, I was treated to some trivia about how it recently moved in the last few years to its current location, and how the driver knew a friend who used to walk a crazy distance just to have a coffee from Chit Chat in the morning. And naturally, when I arrived at work and mentioned it to someone who is in town regularly, they already knew of the place and its amazing coffee....
