When I worked at McDonald's, we focused on QSC and V: quality, service, cleanliness and value. No matter the time of day that was what we aimed to provide our customers. You ordered something and we did our best to get it to you as fast as possible with impeccable quality.
Today's McDonald's is a different story. I went to this location last night to get supper for my wife and daughter after a busy day of travel and my daughter's cheer comp. McDonald's was the only option.
To start those kiosks are absolutely awful. Incredibly inefficient and cumbersome. I ordered three double cheeseburgers, two medium fries and a kids meal. Me and the wife want our burgers plain as do many of you. Why don't they have a plain button? Better yet why don't they ditch those kiosks for a dedicated service employee to run the counter? You can serve way more customers with humans instead of machines for a fraction of the cost, not to mention pay those humans a decent wage compared to the licensing fees you pay for those kiosks. Took me 10 minutes to order.
Second this store was absolutely disgusting. Garbage all over the lobby. A drink station that was last cleaned hours ago. Guess having a lobby crew keeping things clean impacts the bottom line.
Third, it took 20 minutes to get my smaller sized order. That's not including the 10 minutes spent ordering at your inefficient kiosks. So 30 minutes total. You guys are McDonald's, not Boston pizza. You guys are supposed to be fast food, not fast casual.
Fourth the food was awful. All our fries were cold (I still know the QA time on your fries is 7 minutes. Basically the fries have a quality shelf life of 7 minutes after they are removed from the fryer). My daughter's fries were way too salty where she didn't even eat them. The double cheeseburgers were ok but cold.
The only bright spot was I got my condiments that you usually charge for for free.
Sadly this experience is becoming way too common at McDonald's everywhere. The company is focused on the money. They seemed to forget that when you focus on delivering a great product with great quality and in a clean restaurant that shows the staff care, then the money flows.
Last night was the final straw. This ex McDonald's employee and his family will never eat at McDonald's again. McDonald's has...
Read moreLots of happy memories coming here during lunch and just having a blast with my friends and annoying the crew a little bit I won’t lie. Only 3 stars because WHY DOES IT SAY OPEN 24 HOURS WHEN THE INSIDE ISN’T OPEN?!? No I understand why but why would I sit for half an hour in the drive thru at 11:30 at night to get cold, crusty, dusty food and watered down drinks when I can go inside and get warm(er) food and actual flavourful drinks and be able to sit and GO TO THE WASHROOM WHEN I NEED TO REALLY BAD. This McDonalds has changed so much in the past couple years. Service can range. Sometimes they’re super sweet and helpful and other times they cringe at the fact that they’re breathing the same air as you.
(Edit) I’m going to put you in a scenario. Let’s say it’s been a long hard day at work and you don’t feel like cooking. You decide, “Hey! I should stop off at McDonalds!” So you do. You’re so excited to get some golden fries, only to find out that the ketchup machine is empty. You decide to go up and ask if they can fill up the ketchup machine. No. They won’t. They’ll give you 3 KETHUP PACKETS FOR YOUR 10 NUGGET MEAL WITH A LARGE FRIES. This...
Read moreWhen are we going to have workers who actually care about the customers? Who care about safe food handling? Who have integrity to do the right thing? Instead we have careless food handlers who would rather make customers hate the name! This place uses Big Mac patties to replace the quarter pounder patties! I've ordered both burgers since I was a teenager. I had this incident happen tonight at one McDonald's and went to this location begging to get the order proper. Instead she treated me the same way the man at the other restaurant did. The only reason she made a burger was because she touched my burger infront if the other three customers there. She said she wouldn't make me another until she noticed the disturbed glares from two of the customers in the store. Then telling her coworker to make me the burger the same way. I just wanted a quarter pounder deluxe! Slap my face and call me Karen all you want... when it comes to food... it should concern everyone who eats at the establishment! I never want to waste another dime at any...
