Been here a couple times but had an odd interaction here this evening. I ordered a greek frappe and the girl at the front gave me a weird look and said okay questioningly. I said is something wrong and she said no. I said is it not good and she said no personally I don't like it and prefers something sweeter. Fair enough didn't think much of it - just thought it was odd to make that face in addition to her tone. Then another woman came and said this is a sipping coffee under her breath. Then she comes to me and says this is a sipping coffee and it's full of ice to the top. I said okay so is your point its going to overflow so take a sip? Meaning the ice would melt and I need to take a sip to prevent overflow since it was filled right to the top.

She's says no usually you drink it morning until afternoon it's strong. I said I like strong coffee like turkish. She said we have greek coffee it's turkish. I also told her I've ordered your stuff in the past including a mexican type of coffee. I paid for and ordered knowing what it was having seen it online. I thought maybe they were concerned because people have ordered it in the past and not liked it or maybe she didn't want to make it or perhaps she was new and didn't know how to make it. Either way came they came off as unprofessional and rude.

If it's on your menu, a customer can order whatever they want any time of day, frankly they can drink it how they want to. Not sure what all the judgement and rudeness was about. If you have drinking recommendations it was not the correct manner to communicate it. Pretty pretentious for someone who's serving my coffee on a saturday night. Wanted to try the drink as I like trying different coffee drinks, kind of a hobby of mine. But definitely won't be spending my money here in future.

On top of that asked for a receipt. Only gave me a visa receipt. I asked for a breakdown receipt. Charged me for a brownie even though that is not what I ordered.

Terrible customer service, rude, and overpriced for the quality. There are way better options in the city. Customers vote with their feet, so it makes sense why this place was empty when other establishments in the vicinity were lively and...

It's unfortunate, but I grab coffee with friends here often and there are 2 employees who are noticeable very unfriendly. Don't get me wrong, the drinks are great here. Coffee is probably one of the best in the city, but the service here is terrible. There are 2 younger and 2 older ladies who work there often. The shorter younger lady and the taller older lady needs to learn how to smile and treat a customer. The shorter younger lady seems like the daughter of the owners and you can tell she can't wait to get off work. I understand, I've been a teenager before too, but she should learn from the other taller younger lady who's much more friendlier. Now the taller older lady is the biggest problem, she looks pissed if you take long figuring out your menu. She gets even angrier and she can't hide it on her face when you order a small coffee that happens to be free as a promotion. Don't get angry for ordering a free coffee when you have it as a promotion, like lady, chill. My friends and I have spent quite a bit of dollars at this cafe (even if we didn't), don't treat your customers like that. She literally ruins the whole experience and keeps me away from going to the cafe. I like your coffee, but we despise that lady, please fix your...

We stop by Mikel Coffee on Prince of Wales pretty often and honestly, it has become one of our favorite spots in Regina. The place has such a nice vibe—bright, cozy, and stylish without feeling overdone. It is the kind of café where you can sit with a friend for a chat, enjoy a quiet coffee date, or even pull out your laptop and get some work done. We usually order the waffle with strawberry ice cream and banana along with a cappuccino. The waffle is always so good—crispy on the outside, soft inside, and just sweet enough. The cappuccino is smooth and rich every time, definitely one of the better ones I have had in the city. On our last visit we tried the matcha latte. It was not really my favorite, but that is more about personal taste and it did not take away from the overall experience. The staff here really make the place even better. They are always friendly, welcoming, and happy to help. The café is also clean and well kept, which I appreciate. Overall, Mikel Coffee is a spot we keep coming back to and will continue to. Highly recommend checking it out!

This is most beautiful, very tastefully decorated coffee shop in Regina. Visiting for the first time and very impressed with ambiance and cleanliness of the place. Service was good with smiley face. Was surprised to see that coffee shop was totally empty at 9:30am, not sure what is the reason. People should support businesses like this. On recommendation of server we ordered Cappuccino Latte which we didn’t like. We will definitely be back to try there dark roast coffee. Paid $12 for two Latte with tip.
