So I go to JC food land on Wellington st and blue jays way all the time. I went to get a party pill which is $7 per pill. I went late at night, he charged me $37 for the pill. I was confused but didn’t confront him. I went back today to confirm the price… an older nice Asian lady scanned it and indeed it’s $7

Be careful of the young man working at night … he will over charge you. Make sure he scans the items and not just types in a price.

UPDATE: he had the guts to confront me when I came today March 29th to buy water.. mad about this review. He did not dispute the facts. Claims it was a mistake. Unfortunately the nice older lady who was not there at the time defended him saying it must have been a mistake and I handled this wrong by writing a review. I said facts are facts. Mistake or not.. I didn’t get my money back and I’m warning others to check they’re getting charged what they should be. Today the first thing rang up was cigarettes, I didn’t buy cigarettes, she before me telling her removed it.. she said it was from the previous buyer.. I don’t understand why it would be on there for my transaction if it was a previous transaction. Anyway. I was not planning on having a confrontation but they were confronting me for writing this review I said facts are facts. They were very mad at me...

Absolutely applaud with this store. I'm walking to work when I randomly got a nose bleed! It happens to me from time to time. I knew this convenience store was up ahead.while trying to stop my nose from bleeding, I asked the lady in the store if she sells tissues. Bluntly she replied yes back far corner. One hand holding my nose I went to look for the tissues. No luck all I found were huge napkins, which I would take if that's all they had. I enquire again, sorry I couldnt find them could you show me. To which she huffed and said I already told you FAR BACK CORNER! Well that was not the kind of customer service anyone wants to receive let alone while bleeding from the nose. If you dont want to help people dont work in customer service lady! If I could give them minus stars I would!...

I went to drop off my package today, and the young man at the cashier was incredibly kind and efficient. The whole process took less than a minute, saving me so much time. However, I did have to wait for a while because the person ahead of me came in with an unpacked package and asked for tape, a label, and other materials. I’ve noticed some people leave unfair complaints about this store, but honestly, it’s on customers to come prepared when dropping off packages. Don’t expect the staff to do everything for you.
