Everyside - Social Eatery & Taphouse — Restaurant in Toronto

We attended the Oasis concert and got back downtown at 1230 Monday night. Three different places turned us away saying they were closing. When we arrived at Everyside they welcomed us in despite it looking like mostly staff left in the restaurant looking to close soon. The staff were incredibly friendly and accomodating and the bartender chatted us up asking about the concert. Just very genuine people and not put on. My wife had a margerita and had to have a second. I had a double whiskey ginger. It was mixed strong and the drinks were reasonably priced for a fancy downtown place. We had the pita and hummas appetizer and it was amazing. My wife is vegan which often makes restaurant choices difficult but she really liked the Morocan cous cous bowl. It was a healthy portion and delicious. I had the burger and it was so tastey. The bun was so fresh and beef itself tasted like it was made from scratch. The topings made it all so delicious. Considering how beautiful the location is I was shocked at how reasonable the pricing is. I understand they have only recently opened so I had to leave a review. I was in Toronto for a Union conference and didn’t know the area well, so I was exploring nearby options for lunch. A couple of colleagues and I came across Everyside – Social Eatery & Taphouse and decided to give it a try. From the moment we walked in, the warm welcome and upbeat energy set a great tone. The staff were attentive, friendly, and professional, and the food came out fast despite the lunchtime rush.

Every dish was fresh, well-prepared, and full of flavour. The menu has a nice variety that appeals to different tastes without being overwhelming. Prices were also very reasonable for the quality and generous portions. I was so impressed that instead of venturing out to try new spots — which I usually do when travelling — we ended up coming back here every single day of the conference.

A friend and I went there on opening day were absolutely blown away! The restaurant is absolutely beautiful, it is such a warm and inviting space. The food was incredible (every dish was full of flavour and perfectly done), and you can really tell how much care goes into everything. The brewery side is such a cool touch as well. The drinks were fantastic and paired perfectly with our meals!!

And I have to say, the staff made the experience even better. Jenny is an absolute rockstar (you can tell how much heart she’s poured into this place), and our server Josh was on point — friendly, funny, and made sure we were totally taken care of.
