Forest Hill Farmhouse — Restaurant in Toronto

I am not familiar with this restaurant nor their story and looks like I'll be the first to drop a review.

I must say, the display is absolutely on point. The amount of choices you get to choose from, think of subway but on a whole other level 🎚️. The flow of going from one end to another, exceptionally efficient and cleanliness is by far 'textbook' and what I mean by that is it's like I'm looking at a restaurant dinning catalog book, completely clean and prestine.

Being my first time here I had no idea 💡 what to order nor was I able to choose. Thankfully Tyrone was the man of the hour to guide me and breakdown what this restaurant is all about. He easily described, detailed and answered every question I had about the culture, story, ingredients, vision and recommendations. It wasn't until afterwards once I settled for the fan favorite Coulson Cobb salad 🥗 that he shared with me that he is Infact the GM of the restaurant. Which I was surprised because I assumed he was front staff but what an impression he made because he represents the restaurant so well. Not to mention his customer service and philosophy as a leader speaks volumes and shows.

Highly, highly recommend this spot!

Fresh ingredients, good green falafel but the falafel bowl put together was blah. The tahini sauce is cold and insufficient. Leaves the overLl salad bowl quite so dry. Also the ingredients though good separately, just don’t come together. Eggplants, red pepper and cherry tomatoes umm not quite the yummiest. I think this bowl needs a change. Given the reviews of others maybe they have better salads but you can certainly miss this salad bowl. Service was good though- quick, efficient. But would have been nice to get a heads up about dryness levels. Price=$19 (17+ taxes)...

David is the true embodiment of what good customer service should be! I love going to Farmhouse for their bowls! Yesterday for lunch I ordered a bowl via ritual before my 10 minute walk there because I was on a time crunch. I didn’t see my bowl anywhere. I was panicking given how limited my lunch break is! I told David about my order. He immediately apologized for this and right off the bat, he made me a bowl! No questions asked. I’m just really fortunate that David was there to remedy the situation. If it wasn’t for his kindness, I wouldn’t have made it...
