Today, we had an unforgettable dining experience that left us raving! We ordered the New Zealand lamb rack, and it was unlike any lamb I’ve ever tasted. The meat was incredibly tender, practically melting in your mouth—a texture and flavor so exquisite it’s a must-try for any food lover. My nine-year-old daughter enjoyed the oyako udon with chicken broth, and it was a complete hit! The udon was perfectly cooked, with a rich, comforting broth that had her finishing every last bite—a rare feat for a picky eater. We also indulged in the rolls and maki, which were nothing short of Michelin-star quality. I visited this restaurant for the first time today and really enjoyed it. The staff and chefs were all very friendly, and even though the counter seating has a classy, refined atmosphere, the overall vibe still feels warm and relaxed, which makes it very easy to spend time there.

As a Japanese person, I can genuinely recommend this place as one of the best spots for Japanese food in Vancouver. The sashimi and sushi are of course delicious, but I was also really impressed by the cooked fish dishes, the California rolls, and especially the dishes made in the traditional pot. If you like sake, I definitely recommend pairing your meal with their sake selection.

Was craving Japanese food and this place popped up during my search. Despite the little reviews decided to give it a shot given that the few reviews that were there were very good and im so glad I did! Coming from someone who is part japanese herself this place exceeded my expectations. The interior was beautiful and the service was also great.
