Ordered a classic pepperoni pizza and a Caesar salad. The pepperoni on the was surprisingly large for the size of the pizza (10") and there were sesame seeds on the pizza itself - not that it really impacted the taste of the pizza or anything, just thought it interesting to point out for those who do/do not like sesame seeds on their pizza. In terms of taste the pizza was pretty mediocre. Not terrible, but nothing to write home about. Surprisingly, the Caesar salad was really good; liked it more than the pizza! The service is quick, was about a 10 minute wait for my order, and the guys behind the counter were really polite. The location of the restaurant is a little tucked away and there aren't a whole lot of tables in the area, but they offer free delivery and we just ended up bringing the pizza back to our hotel room. Not that bad of a pizza joint!

What are the chances that this was conveniently located right in my hotel and offers a whole vegan menu, which was satisfying. A tiny spot for pizza takeout only. When I picked up my pizza I wanted a little hot sauce that was out on the counter…the guy said he’d have to charge me if he put it in a little container so instead he suggest I just put some inside the corner of my pizza box :/. As a vegan I’m very particular with vegan cheeses, and they do use their vegan cheese well. It was melted nicely with a blend of vegan mozzarella and cheddar. The sundried tomato artichoke pizza was delicious. Loved the sesame seed crust. Aside from the customer service, the pizza was satisfying. Filling, hearty and perfect to enjoy in my hotel room on a cold October night in Whistler.

Was excited about their vegan menu. Ordered a large vegan pizza, got... this? Even walked back to question the size, which we paid $30 for a large. She said that was the large vegan size.. but online it says their large is 16" for regular pizzas and vegan pizzas. We saw the large regular pizzas in store which were double the size. Pizza was also super cold. I'm confused, and super disappointed. If that is in fact the "vegan large", they should change the description and prices online because $30 for this disk of disappointment is absurd - even for whistler prices.

Living in Whistler, there are plenty of options for food (& pizza). After my experience last night, I will definitely be looking elsewhere and recommend anyone who values decent customer service to do the same.

Ordered online for pickup, order was estimated at 45 minutes. Arrived in about 30, to see our order through the window sitting. There was a lineup which was understandable after midnight on a Thursday. Waited approximately 15 minutes in line, while intoxicated people were cutting in front, and staff doing nothing about it. When we were almost at the front of the line, they ran out of slices. So they had 4 people waiting at the front of the line for more slices to come out of the oven. Advised a staff member that our order was sitting there and they insisted we had to wait, while our order continued to sit and there was nothing to serve the people in front of us. Not sure why we couldn’t just pay and take our food. We then offered to pay cash, to which the staff member reluctantly agreed. When asked if we wanted change (it was a certain yes as working in hospitality myself you tip based on ‘good’ service and not lack thereof) we were handed our cash back and told to wait some more. At that point we figured there was no point spending $50 on pizza that wasn’t going to be fresh anymore so left and went elsewhere.

Will now be looking for a new pizza option in Whistler, and will no longer be recommending Fat Tony’s to...

Worst pizza experience ever, Their machine was broken and I spent 1 hour trying to pay, I could not enjoy my food as I was to busy trying to pay them, they then told me the pizza was on them as their card machine was not working and I was only able to pay using debit as I am only 16 years old and only have a debit card. The next day they then spam called me and threatened me saying they have my booking information and that I must pay. Not only did I pay them but they charged me the full amount 33.50 for one pizza and this is all after the fact they told me they would charge me the regular amount for putting me through so much work. By far the worst costumer service Ive ever experienced. Your pizza delivery driver said that the pizza was on him he also said that the card machines not working was not my fault at all. The machine kept reading machine error, it had nothing to do with me not having money, you guys are the ones claiming your in debt and you charge customers for wasting hours of their time. Im happy I am not welcome as you have the worst service of all time, also of course I had someone else pay I stated I was only 16. Your accusations of me being intoxicated hold no value, for if I even was intoxicated which I wasn't all I had to do was tap my card or put...

There’s a perfect symphony which must be met for a pizza- the perfect blend of cheese, sauce, toppings, and crust. I like to call the cheese, sauce, and crust the base– anybody can slap cheese and sauce onto some dough and call it a day. The difference is in how it is prepared and constructed- as in the quality of said ingredients and what quantities are they used in to create a masterful and well-rounded work of art for the senses. In this case, I feel like the toppings overshadow the base, and some may say this is due to my order… but I believe 3 toppings is perfectly reasonable (in this case it was beef, spinach, and jalapeños). I think a big mistake a lot of pizzerias make is trying too hard to be gimmicky or trying to be special; when sometimes, less is more. This place advertises itself as famous for its honey-sesame seed crust, which to their credit; is great, and works super well to create a unique dining experience. Their pizzas have a lot of potential, and I feel like they are on their way to becoming fully thought out and mature pies, but they’re still in their growing teen years and trying to figure themselves out.

Anyways, it was great....
