Awesome! Awesome! Awesome! To the point that we went back there again on a 4-day city break to Santiago! Simply the best! The concept is very original! The Pisco Republic of CHI (Chile) and PE (Peru). So, the menu is all about piscos from North to South! If you are a pisco virgin then this is the place for you! A great versatile menu, there is something for everyone! From the ceviches, carnivorous platter to sandwiches as a main course. For dessert, try the assorted dessert platter. Everything is tasty and delicious! The service is perfect. Our hostess Alba, took us through the whole menu explaining everything very clearly. Back to the piscos, you have pisco flights, pisco sours, pisco cocktails. Not a fan a pisco but you like a great dinner experience in the courtyard, then you can try wine or beers!! The place: three different areas, the courtyard, the bar and the inside space. You get it, CHIPE LIBRE is a must do in Santiago! And remember (like most restaurants in Santiago) to book a table to avoid disappointment.

Great service and staff! Ofcourse a huge Pisco selection and great food. The only strange thing is that when you enter they will tell you there is a waiting list (30-45 min), although it still has a lot open tables in fornt and on the huge back space (semi outside). If you put yout name on the list, then go out and come back cca 10 min later, they will give you a seat right away whit a smile. The most of the empty seats remain empty trought our meal, but some people still wait in front. I dont know why they do this, is it because it supposed to seem better (fancier) if you wait 30 min, or just to take the load of the kitchen. Btw it happend twice.

We were blown away with extraordinary service from Luiz and the entire bar staff tonight. They took the time to demonstrate and explain many different samplings of Pisco, and make many recommendations throughout the neighborhood for things for us to experience. Lots of wonderful personalities, and the oysters were also delicious. This was the best Pisco sours. We have had all over town! Luiz and the bar staff are superb. we highly recommend 100%! Edit: we returned again, and yet again, it was incredible! This bar and restaurant is a must stop if you are in Lasstaria !! Customer service, bar flare, and quality of food and drink are unmatched!!!

I wandered here because of the good reviews and really enjoyed my pisco sour cocktail and my tuna Nikkei and catch of the day ceviche. It was quite expensive but the portion sizes were huge. Perhaps better if you are not solo travelling :) I think the dishes are more so designed to share which makes perfect sense! Service was good, a bit sad I automatically got the English menu as I would have liked to have tried in español more. I enjoy seeing what things are named in español. But I think it’s quite a touristy spot so I understand why they have it! That is my only qualm - I know I’m a gringa jaja ¡Muchas gracias por recibirme!

I went here 3 times over the space of 2 weeks and I have to admit I really liked it here. Good food, nice ambiance and friendly staff. I loved the interior decor but my favourite spot was the open terrace behind. I had the Lomo saltado on my first visit and it took all my self control not to have it again on the following 2 occasions. I did manage to try 2 other dishes; the beef fillet and stir fry seafood with rice. All very delicious and filling. I also tried their Cerviche. I like their take on it with the Peruvian corn which you also get with the beef fillet. Good selection of beers and my friends loved the Pisco Sours!

I really enjoyed this meal & experience. Whilst in the main tourist street in Lastarria & on the more expensive side I would go again even if just for the Pisco. They have the biggest selection & offer tasting flights as well as a big range of cocktails. We had a couple of cocktails each & they were both really interesting & amazing! The food was unexpectedly awesome!! A salmon tartare that was the best I've ever had & a seafood hot pot type dish that came with Sopaipilla a type of Chilean bread that I can't really describe except to say it's that good & you must try. Overall this was one of my dining highlights in Chile.
