Breakfast at Churchill's Table in Macau turned out to be a memorable experience, both visually and culinarily. Yes, the price leans toward the higher side—just under 300 HKD/MOP per person, but in this case, it feels justified given the setting, quality, and sheer variety on offer.
The moment you walk into the restaurant, you're met with the grandeur of its façade. It feels like stepping into a refined European brasserie with marble columns, detailed architecture, and a touch of British heritage in the decor. The dining area is elegant yet relaxed, and the service throughout was attentive without being overbearing.
The breakfast spread itself is impressive, clearly designed to appeal to both Western and Asian palates, with an undeniable emphasis on quality ingredients. The open kitchen and live cooking stations add energy to the space, and you can see the chefs carefully preparing dishes to order.
The hot food section included premium items like roasted turkey ham, perfectly cooked eggs, and a selection of roasted vegetables. Everything was well-presented in beautiful copper pans under warm lighting that added to the upscale feeling.
What really stood out was the pastry section. It wasn’t just about quantity but craftsmanship. Croissants—both plain and almond—looked like they came straight from a Parisian bakery. There were also fruit-filled pastries, traditional Portuguese egg tarts (a nice nod to Macau’s heritage), and several types of sweet breads that were as good as they looked.
Another visually stunning display was the bread and dessert section set against a miniature Tower Bridge. Brioche, donuts, and vibrantly colored buns were arranged with care, and they tasted as good as they appeared. I appreciated the small details, like the jars of fruit preserves and spreads available alongside.
For those leaning towards a healthier start, the cold cuts and salad bar didn’t disappoint. Smoked salmon, quality charcuterie, fresh vegetables, and toppings like capers and pickled onions were all laid out beautifully.
The fresh fruit station was another highlight—dragon fruit, melons, pineapple, and watermelon were freshly cut and ripe, accompanied by a variety of yogurts including Greek and flavored options.
All in all, Churchill’s Table offers a breakfast that is not just about satisfying your appetite but delivering a complete visual and gastronomic experience. It may not be your daily breakfast choice due to the price, but for a holiday indulgence, it ticks...
Read morePoor service from start to finish, very disappointed! Will not return until management improves the service.
The waiter took our order from memory without writing it down and got it wrong… we had the assorted muffins (Cruffins), a signature cake (Flamingo) and two pots of teas (Strawberry Fields and Earl Grey Floral).
Initially, we were served with the Strawberry Fields and Lychee Teas which we asked to change to the Earl Grey Floral. The Cruffins and Flamingo arrived shortly after which we found to be overly sweet. We had to ask another waiter where the replacement tea was and found this was left on their counter but not served to our table. The tea wasn’t hot but well brewed and warm.
When we finished, I asked for the bill which the waiter acknowledged and after a few minutes saw the same waiter serving other guests so I had to ask another waiter for the bill. The bill arrived with a card machine and the second waiter quoted the price of the bill ready for card payment. I reviewed the bill and was upset to see an additional charge for assorted scones which we did not order and the Lychee tea was not corrected to the Earl Grey Floral. (Hint: if we did ordered the scones the bill would had shown which scones we ordered alike the Muffins/Cruffins!)
The bill got amended but not before I took a photo which the waiter insisted I...

Tried their Chicken Terragon Pie, which was alright. Cream of Mushroom soup came with a tasty Truffle Foam Emulsion and a delectable cheese cracker.
The Churchill’s Scotch Egg (Choice of pork or prawn, Prosciutto de Parma, witlof, mustard vinaigrette, chamomile, and apricot jam) was wonderfully executed, and the addition of parma ham and apricot jam made it stand out! The apricot jam added some sweetness and depth to the savoury dish. I enjoyed it!
For dessert I picked the One Minute Egg Tart, apparently a ‘magical version of Macau’s famous egg tart’ where they make the delightful pastry from scratch right in front of you, in 1 minute! It was a beautiful elevated rendition of the Macau classic, complete with an entertaining humorous fire show. The egg tart was slightly sweet, with light and creamy airy custard. Super delicious and I would recommend trying the egg tart, you’ll have some fun!
Overall had a memorable experience and would recommend having a meal at Churchill’s for a more complete Londoner experience. They serve a lot of British inspired London classics and the gorgeous restaurant is decked out in all London-esque decor. They also have a breakfast buffet, and I can’t imagine how good it’ll be! They also have an in store bakery with...
