Crystal Jade La Mian Xiao Long Bao – Beautiful Setting, But Overpriced and Average Food Located inside The St. Regis Macao, Crystal Jade La Mian Xiao Long Bao offers a stylish and elegant dining environment. However, when it comes to the food, the experience was a bit underwhelming. The dishes were decent, but not particularly special or memorable, especially considering the restaurant's reputation and location. The menu features classic Chinese dishes like xiao long bao (soup dumplings), but the flavors were quite standard and didn’t stand out compared to other similar restaurants in the region. One downside is the pricing – the food is quite expensive for what you get. While the service and ambiance are good, the overall value doesn’t quite...

The service was good, but the food was meh (presentation was okay). The worst offender was the five spiced beef shank la mian. The beef had no five spice flavour, just hoisin sauce. It was overwhelming. The noodles and soup were just okay. All the fried/pastry items were executed with poorly in varying degrees. Some were uneven such as the tofu sheet mushroom rolls, where a part was too hard and another wasn't fried. The pastries all suffered from the same problem. The layers were not distinct/separated. Just a mouth full of dough. The soup dumplings were just meh, doesn't hold a candle to Din Tai...

Price $$$

Pro: spacious, good services, food arrived quickly and delicious

Con: price

This restaurant is modern and bright, you feel comfortable when you enter. The dumplings and noodles are well made (however the dumplings skin is slightly too thick). The food are delicious and comes really quickly. Although the red oil dumplings not spicy at all, which is disappointing as it is different to traditionally. However, the portions are too small and for the what it is, not worth the price.

Overall, I would not recommend this place unless you want a small snacks and want something to...
