During my stay at Four Seasons Macau, I had the pleasure of dining at Xiao Ting, and it was an unforgettable experience from start to finish. The combination of exceptional service, a warm and inviting ambiance, and outstanding food made for a truly special meal.
A huge thank you to GG, our waitress, whose service was simply unparalleled. She was attentive without being intrusive, making sure every detail was perfect throughout our meal (she timed every dish so that it was delivered just in time and realized we were full before we even realized it!). Her recommendations were spot-on, and she made us feel genuinely welcomed and taken care of. The complimentary champagne and large table by the bar made this experience even more special to us.
Another standout was Jem, the assistant manager, who went above and beyond by taking us on a tour of the restaurant premises. It was fascinating to learn more about the space, and her passion for hospitality was evident in every interaction.
Of course, the star of the show was the laksa—rich, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. Every spoonful was a perfect balance of spice and creaminess, making it easily one of the best versions I’ve ever had. The staff had even noticed how much I liked it and offered more, however this was only the beginning of the meal, but I sure would’ve enjoyed some more…

Read morePre-Christmas in Macao and stumbled upon a Fusion restaurant called "Xiaoting” during our stay at four season. The day before, we had already eaten at a buffet elsewhere and planned to have seafood afterward. This is a Fusion restaurant perfectly fit into our itinerary, offering wide range of cuisine both Chinese and Western, along with the chance to taste Macau's local specialties. The place is very elegant and the service was impressively attentive. Although the dishes we ordered sounded quite common, they were all very delicious. Besides we happened to visit during the 25th anniversary of Macau's handover, and the restaurant offered some special dishes, like the bacalhau fried rice (salted cod), which was rich in flavor and had distinct grains without being oily—highly recommended! The hotel gifted us homemade chocolates for picking Macao cuisine, it’s beautifully packaged with designs resembling Macau's Portuguese...
