It definitely is one of my frequent places as prices are reasonable and flavour is authentic by Hk standards. Also as I can never find crispy banh xeo in Hk, this is one of the rare places that makes them. However, the fact is majority Vietnamese restaurants in HK are normally stingy with giving enough herbs, even if you ask them. As an addict of fresh herbs, I never quite get enough fresh herbs (mint & basil etc) in my dishes. So save me and my friend’s awkwardly to keep asking and our own disappointment of being rejected when asking for extra herbs - we decided to BYO herbs before heading for a pho fix from a shop near the restaurant. We’ve done it a few times and staff obliged to simply rinse it (no need to pick the leaves off). Unfortunately, today was a rainy day and we had an upset the staff who refused to rinse off our 2 packs of basil and mint leave and said it incurs a 10% service charge. And perhaps due to the language barrier they could’ve explained it more generously and said “no need we will give your more herbs” would have sufficed. So my friend grumpily trudged down the hill in the rain to rinse the herbs at his flat. Considering we are frequent regulars in this neighbourhood, they could have been more generous with satisfying our demands for more herbs so we wouldn’t need to be awkward to do this. Nevertheless, it’s an ok spot in the neighbourhood for a quick bite. Especially if you aren’t addicted to herbs like how they offer it back in Vietnam like me lol 😂

I grabbed some walk in takeaway banh mi for lunch. It was a bit hard to find them on the menu since the main menu tended to promote other items. The banh mi were listed on the back. There was a separate lunch menu which I didn't see at the entrance though was shown this upon ordering. I went the pork banh mi which was full of meat and veg. It was tasty, I would go back to eat one again for the affordable price, you also get a free drink at lunch and I enjoyed a lime iced tea.

I'm really glad this place is so close to me as I come here very often with my girlfriend for lunch or dinner. The food here is consistent and full of flavours. The Banh Mi here is delicious since they toast the baguettes and fill it with juicy meats and a perfect amount of pickled vegetables/sauces. My favourite is the ginger beef Pho which almost never disappoints. I have to say this is one of the best Vietnamese places in Hong Kong that I've had.

It was absolutely Dreadful. I’ve ordered 2x Rare Beef PHO noodles and 1x Tom Cuon. The beef was fatty and seriously very chewy, totally inedible. The Shrimp Roll was NOT freshly made at all. I had to check the content in my mouth as I thought I had a piece of plastic in my mouth, there was no plastic content in was just the rice wrapping for the spring roll not just one … but all.

The noodles and stock were fine, but both my husband and I noticed the portion of the noodles were almost half, needless to say we are still hungry and have to go and cook instead

This is real BAD experience .. such unpleasant meal to be serve. I’m not just a new customer .. I have been patronising this small shop But we don’t deserve to be treated by this kind of attitude on the food and which is not...

I need to give you one star. Went there yesterday with my friend and one of your staff (a guy) really didn't welcome us, he was so upset when we showed up like "oh no customer again". My friend felt so bad and it became very awkward because we kept asking whether you are still closed or was there anything that bothers him. Were asking for menu (clearly I spoke English), and a female staff nonchalantly handed us the Chinese menu. She didn't even bother to address our confusion when we flipped the menu looking for English menu.

Been around eating Vietnamese food all over the world, this was definitely not a Vietnamese hospitality. Sad that your staffs' service could tarnish the...
