We ordered a kebab to dine tonight. We weren’t asked whether we can dine in or have take out. When the order was ready, we were given a takeaway bag. We went to a table to eat the food. I’m not sure whether it was the owner who came but he came to our table being extremely unfriendly and telling us if we wanted to eat inside we should’ve told them we wanted to eat inside.

He took our plastic bag and the outside wrapper of the kebab. We thought there would be tables outside at least but there weren’t. I apologised since we weren’t given the choice to eat in or have takeaway and it was an honest mistake but he was still not happy with us. I thought this was quite disrespectful. I don’t come here a lot but I was always given great customer service here and delicious food but this felt so uncomfortable. It made our experience really awkward.

Am a bit disappointed with the service I received at Ebeneezer during my visit this morning (23/2/25)

I experienced an unusually long wait time for my food. What the most concerning was the apparent preferential treatment given to a group of four Korean girl customers. I observed that they were offered complimentary items, including milk tea and other service while I was still waiting for my order.

This experience left me feeling that customers are not treated equally, which is both disappointing and unacceptable. As someone who has visited your restaurant before, I expected a fair and consistent level of service, but unfortunately, that was not the case.

I hope you take this feedback seriously and address these issues with your team to ensure all customers are treated with the same level of respect and service.
