Tango Argentinian Steakhouse (LKF) — Restaurant in Hong Kong Island

Worst Service ever!!! Very disappointing especially since I am a regular customer. I made a booking this afternoon for a table for two for dinner tonight , the lady over the phone confirmed all my details which they already had on file as I am a regular along with my booking. When I arrived at the restuarant today for dinner, the lady at the reception said there was no booking under my name and was not willing to give me a table. I told her that I booked it this morning and the lady confirmed my booking.However the onsite lady ( the front desk) refused and said I had to prove that I had made a booking, I told her I could show you my phone to prove I had called. She did look at my call history but still was not willing to accomodate me. It was not like the restuarant was busy, only 2 tables were occupied. I am really disappointed due to the lack of customer service provided by Tango and their unwillingness to service their customer. I am never coming back and will discourage my family and friends from going there. After what happened at Tango, I went to the next resturant " Jashan" to have Indian cuisine and they were so inviting and gave us a table even though we didn't have a booking. They were warm, pleasant and accomodating. The reception lady at Tango should go get trained from the staff at Jashan, they can teach her a thing or two about...

We had a fantastic experience at the Argentinian restaurant! The decor creates a warm, inviting atmosphere, and the staff were consistently friendly, attentive, and welcoming with bright smiles.

Mushroom Soup🥣 Delightfully surprising! The subtle mushroom bits paired perfectly with the warm, crusty bread, which had a delightful crispy exterior and soft interior.

Carne Empanada: A harmonious blend of beef and onions, elevated by the flavorful tomato paste. A great combination!

T-Bone Steak (Medium): Cooked to perfection with a vibrant pink center, the steak was tender, juicy, and full of flavor.

Truffle Mac and Cheese: While the truffle flavor was subtle, the mac and cheese itself was creamy and perfectly executed.

Spinach Spaghetti: A unique and delightful dish! The spinach integrated beautifully with the spaghetti, creating a fresh and balanced flavor.

Chocolate Cake: Among the best I’ve ever had! Silky smooth with a rich, intense chocolate flavor.

Churros: The cinnamon-sugar topping was slightly sweet for my taste, and a chocolate dipping sauce would have been a great touch, but still enjoyable overall.

Coffee: Solid and satisfying.

Tango Argentinian Steakhouse didn’t just relocate, they upped their game into the stratosphere! I have now been back twice since they reopened and I can assure you that I will not only be back again soon, but that this is really the ONLY restaurant that you should go to for a steak in Hong Kong. Seriously. The service is quick and friendly, and most importantly, understated. The appetizers are amazing and include the best blood sausage I have ever had. The empanadas are exquisite and while I would recommend you try all of them, the cheese empanada and the pork empanada are particularly fine. They offer several wonderful cuts of meat and you should try them all (which may require more than one visit). They are all so thoughtfully and artfully prepared that I am unable to choose one cut as my favorite (ok, maybe the dry aged ribeye). The chef doesn’t rely on fancy or sleight of hand to prepare the steaks, he just does them well and with attention to the details of each individual piece of meat. I have to believe that he finds great joy in his cooking. The sides, like everything else at Tango are prepared by someone who is clearly present in the preparation. They are all excellent. Just go.
