FINEPRINT — Restaurant in Hong Kong Island

Fineprint is famous for their sourdough toast, half and half as well as ricotta blueberry. Tried half and half which is avocado and feta tomato salad. The sourdough is toasted to crispy, but a bit disappointing, as it is a bit dry and the taste of fermentation is rather weak. On the other hand, the toppings are perfect. The avocado is semi-ripen, making it semi-soft, a great pairing with the crunchy toast. Most importantly, it is well seasoned with salt and pepper. Feta tomato salad is also great that it is juicy and savoury. Also, ordered a piccolo, which is piping hot and the milk is silky smooth. I would like to visit fineprint in other districts to try the ricotta blueberry and perhaps some...

I’ve heard from many of my friends that fineprint is very friendly towards furry friends. But that was not my experience when I brought Sauvignon, my Bengal.

I just arrived at the outdoor portion of the shop, still trying to settle Sauvignon in and the staff came over to tell me that he was not allowed on the table but the floor and chairs were okay. I apologised and put him on the floor, leashed. He wasn’t bothering anything or anyone but the staff then came over again within a few minutes to tell me that it’s best I kept him in my arms.

An extremely bad start...

This is a unique cage as it’s split in two with the third-second street steps going through the middle.

What I like- the design is amazing. Great outdoor space with seating both sides. Very pet friendly

Kitchen and small dining area one building- coffee and cakes the other side. I really like this!

Coffee although good is not great. HK coffee has trended towards fruity acidic- this isn’t a complaint as such about Fineprint- just not really the style of coffee I like. In saying that it’s the best of the coffee I have...
