Stepping into Jiangsu Club is an experience in itself. The restaurant’s sophisticated design, inspired by traditional Chinese courtyards, evokes a timeless elegance. Whether in the main dining space or one of the eight private rooms, guests are treated to an intimate yet opulent setting perfect for savoring the artistry of the menu.

For this visit, I booked a private room, an absolute game-changer for families with young kids. The space was perfect for my baby to crawl around safely, giving us a relaxed dining experience without worrying about disruptions. With a private bathroom and lounge area, it made everything incredibly convenient, from quick clean-ups to easy diaper changes. The setup allowed us to enjoy our meal in comfort while ensuring my little one had room to move freely.

Jiangsu Club’s menu is a celebration of refined flavors and expert techniques, where every dish showcases skillful execution and thoughtfully curated ingredients. Among the highlights:

✨ Caviar Sea Salt Smoked Egg– The smokiness adds a beautiful depth to the dish, enhancing the richness of the perfectly soft, flavorful yolk.

🔥 Fresh Abalone with Hangzhou Chilli– A masterful balance of tender texture and bold spice, with the numbing sensation creating an unforgettable taste experience.

🐟 Deep-Fried Twin Baby Yellow Fish– Exceptionally crispy, meaty, and irresistibly delicious, yet impressively light and non-greasy.

🥣 Braised Fish Maw in Homemade Sauce– One of the best renditions of fish maw soup, deeply rich in flavor, delivering a comforting yet luxurious taste.

🦐 Stir-Fried River Shrimp– Delicate, fresh, and beautifully cooked, showcasing the natural sweetness of the shrimp.

🍶 Steamed Cod with Huadiao Wine– The cod is melt-in-your-mouth tender, perfectly complemented by the aromatic Huadiao wine.

🍖 Dried Farm Vegetables with Braised Pork Knuckle– A signature dish that is packed with bold, comforting flavors, a true delight, especially when paired with plain rice.

🥟Scallion Pancakes & Steamed Xiao Long Bao – Handmade daily, these dim sum selections are a must-try, delivering freshness and exquisite taste in every bite.

From the depth of smoky eggs to the crisp perfection of fried yellow fish, every dish at Jiangsu Club speaks to the restaurant’s philosophy of elevating tradition with exceptional quality. Whether for a grand celebration or an intimate gathering, this establishment remains a must-visit for those seeking the finest expressions of Chinese...

Jiangsu Club is truly a hidden gem in Sheung Wan! The ambiance is elegant yet welcoming, making it the perfect spot for an elevated Chinese dining experience. I recently tried their Sichuan Culinary Odyssey pop-up, and it was beyond incredible—a true celebration of Sichuan flavors without being overwhelmingly spicy.

The standout dishes for me were the steamed lobster, which was unbelievably fresh and tender, and the twice-cooked pork, which had the perfect balance of crispiness and rich, savory flavor. Every dish was crafted with so much detail, showcasing authentic techniques and bold flavors.

On top of the amazing food, the service was attentive and knowledgeable, with staff explaining each dish and recommending the perfect pairings. Whether you’re a Sichuan food lover or just looking for an exceptional Chinese dining experience, this place is a must-visit. Can’t wait to see what...

Jiangsu Club is a Chinese restaurant hidden in an unnoticeable commercial building in Sheung Wan. The main dining room with a rather low ceiling is bright and elegant. It is not too noisy even during the busy lunch hour, possibly because the carpet helps absorbing the sound. Servers are friendly, hardworking and accommodating. Although a bit on the expensive side, the traditional Jiangsu cuisine is of good quality and delicious. Highlight of the lunch is definitely the exquisite Braised Shark’s Fin with Supreme Chicken Sauce (Original Price HK$498/person), which costs HK$268/person during the promotional period between 6th to 19th January, 2025! Highly recommend the crispy Scallion Pancake (HK$78), the delicate Steamed Xiao Long Bao (HK$88/four pcs), and the crunchy Deep-Fried Glutinous Rice Dumplings with Dragon Fruit Sauce...
