Mirage Bar and Restaurant is soso cool, real recommended, the dishes are good and i esp like the yummy juicy pork chop and delicious barrata cheese yaya, enjoyable family night lovelove(;

Dan Dan Burrata, Italian burrata cheese, plant-based mince, peanut, chilli sauce is soso rich, i love burrata and the texture is so much funs

Wonton Tacos, sustainable yellowfin tuna poke, guac-a-mame, sesame-soy marinade is lovely, i like yellowfin tuna

“ICHIBAN” TARTARE, french Folmard beer, Soy sauce, spring onion, cage-free egg, togarashi spice, bonito flakes, crispy toast

Spanish Duroc Bone-in Pork Chop with roasted new potato, sautéed garlic French bean, pomegranate gravy, is soso yummy, i’m lovein ittt, haaa soso tender and soft, and the meat flavor tasting so good and juicy such a lovely lovely one haaa, and i like the seasonings they put on top yaya, and roasted potatoes are so soft soft tooo haa, and the fat ratio is so perfect juicy and oily haaa, such a lovely one

Mala Wagyu Beef Cheek, used with slow-cooked Aussie wagyu beef cheek, sichuan pepper gravy, roasted shallots, sautéed spinach, beef cheek is so tender haaa, and i like the sweet onion haa and light spicy spinach, so much fun with a bit sichuan spiciness which is acceptable luckily haa

Stockyard Angus Ribeye Steak 10oz with baked Idaho potato, grilled tomato and black pepper sauce, baked potatoes is just soso, actually would be more smooth and rich, the taste is a bit light, better adding some butter for enhancing the taste, the steak is lovely with good texture, perfectly cooked in medium well haa

Japanese Udon Carbonara, with parmesan, cream, pancetta, cage-free egg yolk, crab roe, spring onions, is soso attractive, we love the creamy feeling with rich milk cheese flavoring, such a good start for our main haaa

Vegan Bolognese Rigatoni, with plant-based mince, carrot, tomato ragout is pretty normal with strong tomatoes flavoring, and i don’t know it’s planted meat if you don’t tell me, not outstanding as udon but still not too bad

Harbourview is not direct but still you can look at the harbour and convention room, the environment is quite good here haa, lovely having a family gathering yaya, and all dishes are lovely and so enjoyable haaa

Consider booking a place here at Mirage, Renaissance Hotel. Instead of marking up their price, they are offering a deal of $1388 for 2 persons on their set dinner of four courses. The restaurant has a state-of-the-art bar counter anchored in the middle of the restaurant; and floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the harbour views, guaranteeing an intimate and romantic dinner for you and your date.

♥️Foie Gras Ballotine on Toast Unctuously smooth, awakening our umami taste buds

♥️Beef and Scallops Tartare with Caviar (supplement $138) Alexandre Polmard beef was used, one of the most exclusive and expensive beef in the world. They were aged for up to 15 years using cold air. The caviar was also from renowned Royal Caviar Club.

♥️Lobster Bisque with Brandy Cappacino Rich lobster flavors with copious succulent lobster meat inside. Hungry thinking about it now!

♥️Italian Scampi Risotto Again, caviar from royal caviar club was used for additional freshness and salinity. A delightful course.

♥️Braised beef cheeks in red wine Strongly recommending this. We adored the texture as it was not overly melty, and retained a perfect amount of chew on the tendons.

♥️Rose and strawberry Mont Blanc A beautiful and pink dessert to round up the meal

Halloween Dinner @ Mirage Bar & Restaurant

What is the best way to spend your spooky evening of Halloween in Hong Kong?

I must say it is on both sides of the Victoria Harbour. Here you will find kids gearing up with Halloween costumes doing trick or treat.

As no reservation was made, we walked into Mirage Bar & Restaurant trying our luck for the Halloween dinner. Lucky for us, plenty of seats available. 🤣

Steak was good enough, right temperature with a little crisp outside and tender inside even it's a thick sirloin. Seabass was delicious but the portion wasn't quite enough for my belly. Mac and cheese, well, it's a really simple menu but came out surprising good.

For the price, with Club Marriott's membership, the final bill is affordable, as we're enjoying 200HKD cash voucher off and another 30% off on the final bill (not to mention there were still points credited for Bonvoy's member).

The only let down was, the main course menu provided with only 6-7 selections, it should be more. 🤷 We're screaming for more foods.

The venue itself is quite and comfortable usually, service is up to standard for what you pay. Beer starts from 95HKD+10% for a full pint.
