We booked months in advance to experience dim sum at this restaurant on a Saturday noon. Two standout factors made this dining experience special: the elegant, sophisticated ambience and exceptional food fit for royalty. The modern decor, complete with floor-to-ceiling glass windows offering spectacular harbor views, was opulent and reminiscent of a European fine dining establishment. Even the restroom had a lovely view! Although the restaurant has two levels, some areas may not have the same stunning views. One minor drawback was the occasional high noise level and lack of oriental touches. The table service was reasonable, but the tea pot design could be improved to prevent spillage.
Importantly, every dim sum dish, including desserts, was delicious. Highlights included the fluffy, warm char siu bao with thin skin and generous fillings, as well as other steamed and fried dim sums. We also enjoyed the dumpling soup, scallop rice rolls, and special steamed dumplings. The desserts were a lovely conclusion...

The view is stunning but actually the service is better than the view in my opinion. The service is easily as good as any one or two Michelin star restaurants we have been to in other countries, every movement was refined, the attention to detail was high, the recommendations were spot on, everything felt perfect, the photos of us looked professional as well.
We had heard many great things about one harbour road and wanted to try their dim sum. In general we found the "less traditional" dim sum were our favourites, we especially loved the following dim sum:
The vegan black truffle steamed dumplings Baked chicken and mushroom pastry Steamed rice flour, scallops and asparagus The soup of the day Mango pudding
As it was my wife's birthday, they put us in (what I would consider) their best seats.
We can't wait to come back.

Read moreOverall, Food are not too bad. We tried the special dinning city restaurant week set course menu which price wise is cheaper than you go a-la-carte. The appetizer was ok, the crab and the chicken soup was pretty good. However, personally I didn’t like the Sichuan peppercorn steam fish as it makes you feel numb on the tongue and it kind of has a weird taste, even when you tried to remove the peppercorn and just eat the fish, it has been contaminated, the peppercorn taste can’t be removed……….The fried rice was excellent, super tasty. The sago cream guava dessert was also quite nice. Service wise it is hard to get the staff attention when you need something or to get the check as they are almost no where to be found when they are not serving the dishes…….the window seats table’s view is amazing as you get to see both IFC and across the...
