Do not waste money! the worse dining experience with a 2 stars Michelin restaurant especially and it’s for birthday celebration. Shame to link with Four Seasons brand!
Main course selection: Pigeon is the default option, but one of us cannot do Pigeon, so the staff offered us a choice to upgrade to an A5 wagyu, which we have concern that it will be too fatty since it’s A5, but the staff told us that it won’t be considering the part they use. So we just go ahead since we don’t have other choice, however, the truth is (as you can see from the picture) that the A5 wagyu is almost pure fat which we can’t even have more than 1 bite.
Customer service: when we first ask the staff about the above issue, they first come back to explain that it is an A5 wagyu so it’s normal to be fat! (I wonder why they didn’t told us at the beginning when we asked particularly, but instead told me the opposite indicating it won’t be, so, you just want to upsell us, right!).
We then keep on asking for a resolution as we aren’t satisfied with their response. Second time, the manager came with the same explanation but informed us that they are willing to offer us a 50% reduction (from $500 to $250) on the wagyu upgraded price as their best offer in front of the birthday person? This is a terrible embarrassing moment!! even at the end they offered us to replace the main course with a fish dish after multiple ask for a resolution. The service was bad and food is average.
Plus this manager try to keep pouring wine in front of our chef counter table, but those wine is not served to us, I feel like is annoying, which there are plenty of empty tables besides us, should either arrange us to other table or find another place to do your work. Is any michellin star restaurant while not pouring wine in front of customer? I wonder why

Read moreI was looking forward to trying NOI and I must say I'm grossly disappointed. We took the signature finner full menu. Chef Paulo and Luigi both aren't around. Everything was salty or overly sweet. The courses individually were poorly executed nor do they make sense in a menu. It's like a nasty mimic of Japanese handling fish, theirs was fishy and blend. The squid dish was soaked in a mightily salty broth. The peas covered whatever flavour there should be for uni. Bread well its a cute Hokkaido sweet glazed that my kids love, shockingly i found that a relief to cleanse the fishiness and bitterness from my palate. The venison was cooked well, the sauce again too heavy. The pasta.... for an Italian restaurant it was cold the pasta didn't blend with the sauce its like adding cold soba into a dish after its been cooked. Prawns were cold n raw didn't have flavour. Dessert, lol ice-cream with chocolate sauce with a spoon of caviar. What a waste and didn't do each other justice. The sweet potato flan is a sweet mush I took a wee bite n left it. This came after the lobster which was half raw plated with again overly sweet pumpkin mush.
I have expressed my opinion gently and repeatedly to various staff for chef to taste his own sauce but all stared at me wild eyed without knowing how to respond.
The wine pairing which is around hkd2000 with service charge, very average wine and the chardonnay I think has gone bad and was served very very warm.
I don't know where the star comes from and its very undeserving. So 2 ppl plus 2 wine pairing it's over hkd10k there are plenty of options out there.
The ingredients did look fresh but it's put together in a messy non sensical...

I'm baffled at how Noi at the Four Seasons managed to earn 2 Michelin stars (just FYI I don’t think four seasons is affiliated with NOI) . The dining experience was remarkably subpar. We were rushed to an air-conditioned table and before we could even select a bottle of wine or an aperitif, dishes were being rushed to our table. 2 Courses served to us without asking for drinks or wine!!! The second course we had to wait to eat whilst waiting for our wine. No apologies made from the staff. Following a 25-minute wait, we were informed the wine we chose was unavailable and were presented with an alternative that not only differed in taste but also came with a surprise upcharge on our bill - all without an apology. The quality of the food was mediocre at best, in fact I've updated this review and both the dining patrons got sick from the food!!! But it was the service that truly disappointed. In fact, it was so poor that I feel compelled to advise others against dining here. It took the sommelier an astonishing eight minutes just to open a bottle of wine, with no skill shown in decanting it. With a total bill exceeding $8,000, I assure you, there are places with far superior service, that won't leave you feeling let down. I will not be returning! In one word , SHAME. I don’t understand how NOI has two Michelin stars. This was an absolute appalling experience. Please avoid this restaurant at all costs, and give yourself...
