Great view combined with good Japanese food. Some improvement areas. First off, this restaurant provides each tables with a decent amount of space, so you are not sitting on top of one another and can have a conversation without strangers eavesdropping. Secondly, the view of the harbour is very nice. The food menu is quite extensive with a bias towards seafood. But they also have a god selection of beef. The Australian Wagyu beef is very tender and tastes absolutely great. The side dishes are tasty as well and are decently sized. Price wise you are in the 5 star category for sure, so do not go if you're on a budget. The wine list is one improvement point: it includes many famous names, but tends of include the not so good years. So that was a bit of a let down. Staff was pleasant and friendly. Could be faster at times, but I guess that depends on time and day of visit. Overall a very pleasant restaurant with good food and pleasant service. For the price it could be that little bit better to justify the pricing, but that may also be a matter of taste.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Shikigiku for lunch, and it was a fantastic experience! The atmosphere was lively and modern, with stunning views of Victoria Harbour that added to the charm. Our server was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, guiding us through the menu with great recommendations. We ordered the Sushi Set and the Pork Tonkatsu, both of which were exquisite. The sushi was fresh and beautifully presented, while the tonkatsu was perfectly crispy and flavorful. The staff continuously ensured we had fresh water and cleared our dishes promptly, making us feel well taken care of throughout our meal. While Shikigiku is on the pricier side, the quality of the food and the overall experience made it worth every penny. I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking to enjoy a delicious Japanese lunch in a vibrant setting. We’ll definitely be back!

We ordered two set $890 + 10% x 2. I forget to take a picture of the rice , veggie and the dessert. I don’t recommanded this restaurant. If you have been to Lung King Heen, their services is beyond my expectation, very impressive. (They are located in the same hotel as shikigiku.) The services in Shikigiku is extremely bad. You can feel the waitress knows nothing. They are probably part time/ 炒散. They won’t come and check do you have enough water. You have to ask them to give you more water and waited about 15 mins in a non-peak hour. The food portion is not enough for a male adult. The chef is not friendly and he can feel that he is in hurry to enjoy his lunch break. We went there around 1:30pm. I hope they provide better services in dinner time.

The unforgivable ugly one in HK - This resteraunt is not deserved its price and location!

it's shocked this can get rate 4, actually it's not deserved one star! believe those review are fake and provided by its employers to trick new customers.

This resteraunt is not the memeber of four season hotel group, their business model is to rent the place near the luxury hotel, shamefully manipulate the name of the resteraunt similar to the hotel, and sell cheap food with LUXURY PRICE!

The wagyu is not as good as its price, the pork is not fresh and dry, the tempura is over oil, even some fish is not fresh. even the rice is not well cook!!!!!!!!

And one anoying thing is their waiter always keep saling some food to customer, of course those food is kind of so so things but with a luxury price to ensure that they can earn 10x profit from the order, this resteraunt is acting like a rob or theft without integrity, it's not exaggerated that this resteraunt is the right shame of HK !!

suggestion : do not close it, let the world see the...
