The service and quality of food didn’t match the Brand name . We ordered four drinks and two crispy pockets . One with Foie Gras and beef burger with bell peppers as well as the other with roasted ham and cheese in parisien style . We (4 of us ) told the waiter that we were going to share the two orders of pockets and we stressed the point that two of us didn’t like tuna pockets as suggested you the waiter ! Moreover, we requested to cut the pockets in 4 pieces each and which they did . However they served us with a tuna and ham pocket instead of the Foie Gras and beef burger with bell peppers pocket . We said that two of us didn’t eat tuna . The waiter suggested that those didn’t like tuna should have the ham pockets ! What a “wonderful “ suggestion!!! After we insisted, the dish was changed . But.... Furthermore, the cappuccino and mocha came in with mild warm temperatures but not hot ! It’s summer in Hong Kong ! Do they really even know how to make...

Very bad attitude by the IFC Cafe manager., Joey Lai. Hawker store staff shows more respect to customer!. I placed an order for a birthday cake , for my teenage son. On the day to pick up the cake, it was late afternoon (and date of birthday). I asked for ice as it was sizzling hot 🔥. He said this is the company arrangement. I tried to persuade him and he said if you do not like it, you can cancel the order. Abruptly, he grabbed the cake and took it away from me!. The attitude of a Street hawker store is better!. I do dine in their restaurants several times. After this disrespectful treatment, I will never return to any of Joel Cafe and any of it's restaurants no matter how many stars and how delicious it is. I will not recommend to any one who ask me. No worth the disrespect and insult. HK has tonnes of quality restaurants and Cafes and choices. Photo is his hand writing...

For its price range, you would expect it to have better service, better food, and better cleanliness.

Firstly, upon sitting down, the tables were stained with oils and/or sugar marks from the previous meal (see photo). Our waiter also places utensils and napkins with no elegance. The service felt rushed like you would find at a local restaurant. Next, their green tea latte was not mixed properly at the bottom. You can see how clumpy and rushed the product was made. The desserts look stunning however the Jivara orange cake lacks finesse with its sweetest.
