Was here on a weekend afternoon for pre-birthday afternoon tea, and was totally disappointed.
We booked 2 weeks in advance and was told the 14:30 session was full (as expected), so we booked the 16:30 - 18:30 session as advised. There were only 3 waiters/waitresses on the floor, which was obviously understaffed. Everyone was so rushed and we felt pretty pushed approaching 18:00. When I only wanted a simple scone at 5:30pm, I was quickly shut down with “last order”’ for afternoon tea already and “reservations start now”, clearly no place for me although it is an enormous lounge and was referred to the gift shop to purchase a scone instead. Actually I have been to millions of Four Seasons all over the world including HK many times. There are ways to communicate messages to guests and still make them feel valued. Communication needs to be improved and you should show the same level of respect to all guests...
