Dining time(1:11pm lunch) follow@wojengyea/@wo!正嘢 for more food info🐒 Support us in discovering more delicious food! 😋 I love lobster🦞and shrimp🦐broth the most. I ordered a bowl of Sakura Ebi ramen with thick and firm noodles. For the BBQ fatty pork🐷, one can choose between fatty pork belly or lean pork shoulder, and of course, as a fatty, I chose the fatty pork belly. As soon as the bowl of noodles arrived🍜 , I immediately tasted the broth. It was fresh, sweet, flavorful, and had a rich lobster taste! 🦞🦞🦞 The only downside was that the soup wasn't hot enough♨️♨️. The bowl of noodles came with shredded black fungus, a soft-boiled egg, fried lotus root, chashu pork belly, and a generous amount of Sakura shrimp🍤 . The mouthful of Sakura shrimp was absolutely delightful and enjoyable. 😎 On another note, the fatty pork belly chashu was incredibly fatty, even fatter than a fat guy🐽 , but it was very flavorful. A single bowl of ramen is usually not enough for me during lunchtime, so I ordered some fried cheese tteokbokki🧀 . I was somewhat disappointed because it was greasy, but the cheese flavor...
Read moreI chose this restaurant because it doesn’t need to queue and directly walk in is ok.
When I walked in, the receptionist was looking at her phone. She didn’t even look at me and asked me to feel free to find a seat myself.
When I sat down, another waitress came and gave me a QR code to order online. I ordered a soy sauce ramen with pork belly, and additional pork shoulder (+$28) (only has 2 super thin slides). When the Raman arrived, I had some expectation becoz $98 is expensive for a Raman and the outlook seems good.
however, the soy sauce taste is quite light and I feel like even instant noodles tastes better than this Raman soup. And the soup luke warm. The pork is gamey and dry. Overall this ramen is below average.
This Raman costs me HKD $98 + $28 + 10% service fee (I don’t feel there’s any service?)
I saw some people said the price here is affordable and the taste is average. To me, over $100 (after +10% service fee) for a ramen is not cheap. there’s lots of Raman shops in the same area with ramen tastes much better with similar or even lower price. I don’t recommend people...
Read moreWe were looking for a late night bite on Boxing Day tonight, and stumble upon Rakuraku Ramen on lively Lee Tung Avenue! The décor, furniture and wall art were beautiful and reminded me of Japan :) The staff were also friendly and welcoming; they worked diligently, AND spoke English too! You can order via QR code at the table, or the staff can also manually place the order for you. We shared 2 ramens, a side of gyoza pork dumplings, and a hot yuzu drink.
NEW Hiroshima Oyster Ramen in Oyster Broth The staff described this as "鮮" aka "fresh", I can taste the freshness in the oyster broth, and I personally really enjoyed it (some people might find it "fishy") If you enjoy oysters, this is definitely the ramen for you! comes with 2 cooked oysters, soft-boiled eggs, fried lotus, red onions
Ramen in White Chicken Broth The broth is very rich and flavourful, it is slightly on the heavy-oily side comes with 2 pieces of pork cha siu, soft-boiled eggs, fried lotus,...
