Went here with my colleagues for a farewell lunch. . We each ordered different lunch sets, which included a soup of the day or salad, one main course, dessert and drink.
The soup of the day was Mushroom Soup. Served with a long ladyfinger, the soup was creamy.
For the main course, I chose Pumpkin and Asparagus Risotto. The risotto was prepared with cream sauce, parmesan cheese, garlic, onion, pumpkin, asparagus and white wine. It had a rich and grainy consistency.
My colleagues ordered Char Grilled NZ Sirloin Steak, Roast Chicken Tikka with Yoghurt Mint Sauce, Penne Shrimp Alla Marinara and Hawaiian Cheesy Jumbo Hotdog respectively. I didnt really try their dishes, so I cannot comment on the taste. However, I noticed that the sweet potato fries served with the sirloin steak were crispy and well-fried.
The set also included dessert, which was a chocolate brownie. It was not that fudgy compared to other brownies. . There are many bars with standing tables along Lockhart road. But you always please with rooftop bars with balcony. And trafalgar is exactly one of these good pubs you could enjoy some freshly air with a good pint.
It may not located at the core of Lockhart road, still it is very convenient if you are nearly southorn playground. They offer a wide range of draft beers, and many good selection of bottle beers from UK.
