my mum used to be a healthy eater. everything put in her mouth, she will complaint that too salty and too oily and too much seasoning and too strong. she will swear to us our kidney will failure in a future time if keeping eat outside instead of eating at home.. ...... ha... traditional mum here.

And the guy who said he was charged in Euros even though he wanted to pay in HKD must be confusing his credit card bill with the restaurant bill. If he paid in cash, HKD will be accepted. What does he think Hongkong people use for money? If he paid cash but using Euros, he is asking the restaurant to be his money changer because the Euro is not legal tender in Hongkong. Understandably they will charge for the service through the spread. If he paid with a credit card issued for settlement in euros, then he should take it up with the credit card company as they are the ones doing the conversion. Service is somehow discriminating based on customer, the locals were treated with obviously more efficiently while our table was left with all the food residue and no napkin no tissue at all. They also serve more diligently if you are a big group who order a lot of wine, sure. It’s a shame, it was our last evening in HK and could’ve chosen somewhere better. 600+ HKD for a noodle + half chicken + “compulsory”service charge 10%.
