Had the pleasure of lunching at Xin Rong Ji today, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The restaurant’s reputation is well-earned, as reflected in their impressive wall of Michelin accolades spanning multiple years and cities.

The service was attentive yet unobtrusive, with staff who were knowledgeable about the menu and quick to anticipate needs.

Every dish we tried showcased precision in execution and freshness of ingredients: • Stir-fried abalone with green chili: Tender, gelatinous, and deeply flavorful, balanced beautifully with the gentle heat of fresh green chili. • Signature cured fish: Richly savory with a concentrated umami depth, each slice perfectly textured. • Crispy roasted pigeon: Golden-brown skin with juicy, succulent meat – a masterclass in roasting.

The attention to detail in presentation matched the finesse in flavor. For those seeking a refined Chinese dining experience that blends tradition with world-class culinary craftsmanship, Xin Rong Ji is...

Saturday lunch 3 of us

Recommended by a friend last year.

Ambience: very nice setting, clean, a bit like fine dining setup, but the layout of the inside a bit tricky many halls. But everything just nice

Service: fast, attentive, though feels a bit like a fench fine dining restaurant

Foods: some 8 and 9 out of 10. Looks like they tend to use Malas in some of the menus which we are not too fond of. But the taste is wonderful anyway. Maybe more like Shanghainese taste my friend said.

Want to try their famous of infamous peking duck but the answer is always “need to order 2 months in advance”… hahaha we think we never try it .. who still remember ordering peking duck 2 months ago.

Anyway nice restaurant with good...

If you are looking for a refined Chinese food dining experience this is a great choice. The food and service here are both really excellent. Best to come here with a bigger group so you can try a lot of different dishes.

Food: 4.5 stars Service: 4.75 stars Environment: 4.25 stars Overall: 4.5 stars Recommendations: pomfret rice, bamboo shoots, black pork ribs

I didn’t have a chance to try the Peking duck which is a contender for best in Hong Kong. However, I did have the pomfret rice. If you come here you definitely need to order this. It comes in a huge casserole dish and can feed about six people. Do save room for dessert. The pan fried rice roll with seasame was really delicious and I will definitely...

Chinese fine cuisine where every dish is a masterpiece of high quality ingredients and rich flavours. Peking duck, a signature dish, is first served featuring its crispy skin, with a thin layer layer of fat that melt in the mouth. Another must-ordered dish is its braised radish slices - a simple dish braised to impressive flavor and texture. A should try dish is its sea anemone sweet potato noodles. Suggest serving that last given its rich and heavier texture. Attentive service. Elegant setting. Well deserved its Michelin star.
