The Food.
The chicken was incredibly fresh and juicy on the inside. The outside had this very nice formed crispy batter ( most likely doubld fried )
I got the gochujang spicy chicken and the taste was not overpowered by the gochujang itself. I Could still taste the condiments inside the batter.
The sidedishes were very good ( i got the coleslaw and the pickled radish was sweet but sweet enough to satisfy and clense the pallete.
The service was very good, they were kind and could spot you from a mile a way even if you did not asked for a waiter. But leave you alone if you do not need anything
3.The atmosphere was very good, I am an introverted person and i felt good with all of the people in the background and with all of the other sounds ( music, tv etc ), It was not overstimulating for some reason.
EDIT FOR ATMOSPHERE : AT NIGHT THEY BRING OUT THE SMALL LAMPS, CLOSE THE BIG LIGHTS AND LEAVE ENOUGH AMBIRNT LIGHTING FOR IT TO NOT BE TOO DARK. ALSO, THEY PUT ON LIGHTER KPOP/KJAZZ/KROCK
TLDR; Must try, very very very good....
Read moreThis place, even with as much scrutiny as I can possibly give, is just great. As the restaurant's name implies, you should come here for chicken! I cannot wholeheartedly recommend the noodles, soup, etc. beyond the fact it is korean cuisine. Since this is my second time arriving, I came with family to check it out again and see whether it could stay consistent. And suffice to say, it remained good.
The price for half chicken (8 pcs) is 118$ and 228$ for whole (16 pcs), pretty alright. The vast options of chicken sets up great combos. Although the secret recipe may be too sweet at times and can be dialled back slightly.
My recommendation is to go Original flavoured chicken into honey or secret recipe, creates a nice taste and chicken and helps emphasize other flavours when...
Read moreFirst time checking out this popular Korean franchise for a quick late lunch, and it definitely lived up to the hype! Since I was dining solo, I couldn’t go all out with the menu, but I was happy to see they offer “platter” options—perfect for sampling a bit of everything. I went for the "Secret Sauced Chicken Meal," which came with 3 pieces of boneless chicken coated in their secret sauce, some meat kimbap, and a light green salad. The chicken was amazing—well-seasoned, tangy, savory, and just the right amount of spicy. Honestly, if it wasn’t such a late lunch (or if I had friends to share with), I’d have gone for a bigger portion.
The place was clean and spacious, the staff were friendly, and I’ll probably come back to try...
