We have been to Mr Wolf many times over the last 7 years but today was a let down. Almost 1000hkd for 2 Sunday lunch, a coffee, a coke, a smoothie and 1 kids meal. The menu has changed slightly as well. You used to have a starter included but now there has been a price increase and 1 less course + a side choice has been removed.

Diet Coke was 48hkd and completely flat/ watery.

Purchased a kids smoothie for a 2 year old and it came in a glass. We had to request a plastic cup. After giving us a plastic plate it seems odd to give a toddler a glass to drink from. Toddler then ended up accidentally smashing said glass.

The roast dinner was not seasoned well. Oily Yorkshire pudding, dry roast potatoes, watery cauliflower and gravy and all 3 of the meats were very fatty. My husband almost filled a side plate with the fat from beef and pork. It did not used to be this way so I wonder if there has been a change in supplier. Honestly the best part was the cabbage. My meat order was incorrect and my husband had no crackling with his pork.

No body came to ask if our meals were okay, had they I would have given feedback. When our plates were cleared nobody enquired why my plate was almost untouched. We had to ask twice for the bill.

Unsure if staff were just having a bad day. A real shame as the breakfast here is amazing and staff are usually...

We were loyal customers, regulars for Sunday roast, now won't be coming back.

Mr Wolf use to be best in town for Sunday roast, with 3 options, self serve and refills just like you'd have in UK and good quality food for fair price. Now it's become pick one meat only, served to table, price hike and no other options or refills.

The food came out cold. My husband and I went for Roast, others on our table brunch menu.

The service was appalling, new staff fair enough but didn't take order, order she did take she got wrong, came out cold . Somehow registering 3 basic ingredients for a omelettes is hard. Also serving 'fried' eggs that slightly runny as they should be for flavour also apparently hard and wasn't done.

Staff didn't know menu and made it sound like we didn't understand the menu, though we turned out right and she was wrong with her $ and food information about the 'new' roast menu. We won't be coming back. Such a shame as use to be our go to roast. Now we'll have to...

Visit HK almost monthly, always try new restaurants. Mr Wolf looked like a good menu. Went on Saturday afternoon, not very busy but took long time to even get a menu. Ordered sausage roll with hp sauce, thinking I know what to expect. After some time a "mystery meat log" with some soggy pastry arrived. Not like any sausage roll I have ever seen. Apart from tasteless, it was cold and meat not cooked!! For main, I ordered the beef short rib, potatoes............. took 35 mins to come. Wasnt bad but maybe overly smothered in horseradish cream to give it taste? Also was not hot but at least cooked. When asked how everything was, I told guy the story here, he told me he knows, service has problems!! Well if management know, do something about it!! Also read the negative reviews, all say same thing. Could be good if service and food were to improve to level, I am sure owner "thinks" it is. Footnote: James comped my drink, sausage roll and service charge, thanks!! Will try...

Second Review: came with my wife who had half full cup of coffee with her. The lady at the door said it's not allowed. That's not about thinking of customers first, it's about thinking of yourself (the restaurant) first. Totally wrong service culture. It's our second time here, salads are very poor and overpriced. Basically lettuce with finger nail size of tune or not even sure what that was. And they charge over $150 for that. Not acceptable. We went again with beef Wellington and it was amazing as before. We also had rib-eye steak and it was also really good. French fries what came with it were really good too. Verdict - come there for quality meet. Don't waste money on starters, at least no no to those salads. First Review: Boy, that's the best Wellington in town! Also ordered salad but that didn't impress - salad leaves, a few little chunks of cheese, beets and something else - not deserved to be posted. But the Wellington!

I have not been in a long time and went for the Sunday roast for a friends birthday. It still has the same ambience and friendly atmosphere. Food was good, had a bit of everything from the roast, being as I am the one who is usually given food from the rest of the families plates. The pork belly was my favourite, although the chicken and beef were good as well. Got a Yorkshire pudding on the plate and only noticed when I finished the menu said help yourself to more. Something I need the explore further next time I am there. As for the trimmings, all the Veggies were good, very much enjoyed the roast potatoes, but the cauliflower cheese was fabulous, definitely some nice cheese used in that. I have to admit I did go back for trimmings a couple of times. I definitely will return to explore the menu further and one more Eton Mess.

not a bad place, plenty of space, nice atmosphere, and experience wasn't all that bad. food was above average for westernised food standard but nothing special. salmon on hk in general is below average but this is normal in hk, food quality is not all that bad. What let's this restaurant down is the customer service, I ordered a drink 3 times and it never arrived. I mentioned this to duty manager and it appeared. I ordered another drink twice and it never appeared.it is shocking how some waiters remember some orders but not others. they should really ask how things are food etc but this never happened. the outside seating is nice. plenty of space. the prices are typical hk prices for westernised food. expensive but coming from the UK the price and what food you get is as mentioned before above average so its acceptable.
