City Café — Restaurant in Kowloon

Due to protests outside the hotel we were forced to have dinner here. The waitress was rude and one of us had to take the third choice from the menu as the first two choices were unavailable. We were told our food would take 30 to 45 minutes which we accepted. There were only 2 of us and one meal arrived after 45 minutes, the second arrived another 15 minutes later after us asking for it twice. When it finally arrived, it was cold and had obviously been sitting in the kitchen. We spoke to the waiter who made excuses. We asked to speak to the manager. He was unhelpful and rude and wanted us to pay the full price and a service charge despite terrible service and food. Do not go to this restaurant - it has the worst customer service I have...

Okay, I worked in food service for a long time in Canada. City cafe is one of the best overall buffet for seniors. The items are all fresh and not oily. Not as saltly as general restaurant. Very very attentive service. Items selection may not be as wide as other restaurants, but they are all good! Very clean. Very into detailed. If I live in HK, I would like to bring my parents...

Although there're no fancy decoration, it's neat & tidy with plenty of natural light from the side windows.

The lunch buffet provides basic Eroupean & Chinese food together with dessert at the price with 40% disacount - I & my friends paid $210 person, great offer. Juice, coffee are free.
