Mr. Korea BBQ — Restaurant in Kowloon

To start off, I have never been a large fan of Korean food. So that definitely impacts my review. However, if you want to read a review about a Korean restaurant from someone who doesn’t care for Korean food, read on.

The food at Mr. Korea is DELICIOUS! We tried so many types of meat and it was all amazing. That being said, the bibibap wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t great either.

Also, the staff was amazing! They were so kind and played with my daughter and son. One staff member even gave my son a free drink. Fantastic service, give them all a raise!

That being said, I did find it rather expensive. The meat portions also seemed small for what we ordered. We ordered a ton of food, and some of our group were still hungry at the end. In my mind, one order of meat should serve one person, but it doesn’t.

In all, it is a good restaurant, and if you want Korean and are okay with paying the price, I totally would recommend this place. Again, you are taking advice from someone who doesn’t really appreciate Korean cuisine. Probably best to read a few more reviews before...

Best option for korean bbq in hk. Meat is high quality and the portions are large. The pricing is also very reasonable! 5 stars is for the usual standard and the Korean man who is always there, he's kind and down to earth. One time we met the HK owner, who is unpleasant and fake. He acted friendly and came to drink with us without invitation, while we didn't know him. You'd think he'd at least not charge the amount he drank as he had more than we did and kept pressuring us to take shots with him, but he charged us for all the bottles. Most of the bill was drinks we apparently bought for him, so it seems he was just trying to make us put money in his pocket. What's worse is that the meat he gave us was not good that day...it's fortunate for the restaurant that he's...

We arrived half an hour early at the restaurant ahead of our booking, but this was not an issue. We got seats next to the window quickly. The restaurant explained to us the menu and the deal (20% discount) from open rice.

We ordered beef platter, the marinated pork ribs and the scallion seafood pancake.

The meat arrived quickly, and the portions were quite big. We especially liked the marinated pork’s flavour. The beef platter was nice since it contained 5 different kinds of beef to try.

The appetizers tasted good, and it included free refill which was nice!
