Tsim Sha Tsui “Flavours of Spain & Portugal” Seafood Dinner Buffet An Amazing Value Mediterranean Feast
Last week, I went to Tsim Sha Tsui to try a "Flavours of Spain & Portugal" seafood buffet dinner, and it was satisfying! This place specializes in traditional Spanish and Portuguese cuisine, especially Mediterranean seafood and desserts.
My favorite this time was their freshly made Shrimp Senbei Japanese rice crackers — they take a whole fresh shrimp, coat it in batter, and press it into a thin crispy pancake at high heat. The outer layer is crunchy, the shrimp flavor is rich, and the texture is absolutely fantastic! Also, the Chinese and Western soups are distinctive, like the “dried fig, snow fungus, and fish maw chicken soup”, which is nourishing. There’s also a Caldo Verde Scallop in Pastry.
They also offer a range of Spanish and Portuguese dishes — Portuguese pig’s ear salad, Spanish Roasted Pork Loin Rack, Pan-fried Halibut Fillet with Orange Cream Sauce, Portuguese Duck Leg with Orange, and their signature Spanish Paella.
The dessert selection is extensive and high quality! The half-cooked Lava Cheese Portuguese Egg Custard Tart is smooth and delicate, churros are crispy outside and soft inside, and caramelized cream puffs with chocolate sauce are a perfect match! The Black Forest cake has rich layers, and you can enjoy unlimited Swiss MOVENPICK and American Haagen-Dazs ice cream — a must-try for dessert lovers!
For drinks, unlimited red and white wine, juices, beer, and more are available. Overall, this place offers great value, a comfortable environment, and is perfect for gatherings...

They forgot 3 parts of the Panda themed tea set (6 items total since 1 set has double of each item).
The waitress acted confused despite the fact the tables on each side of us had the full set on their tray. How hard is it to count how many items are on the tray? It is a set lunch! Everything should be identical! The plates were obviously missing.
They initially only gave us only one replacement item and when we complained, the wait staff were having a discussion in the back like we were scamming them for extra food.
When asked how long it would take to make this right, they didn't have any answers.
It had been 45 minutes and we were all very frustrated....
Read moreWe had a delightful buffet dinner on Valentine’s Day as we just arrived HKG. Their Maître was friendly, servers are very attentive as they might not totally comfortable in speaking English. The food choices are good quality, we were impressed with their king crab legs & shrimps. A pleasant surprise to have found snake soup+lemon leaves as condiments. There were lots of hot dishes and desserts to satisfy everyone’s appetite. We do appreciated the well planned Valentine’s Day photo corner, the stuffed hearts grabbing machine and the French macaroon making workshop in the Valentine’s Dinner package. Well done. We had an enjoyable evening. Best wishes for...
