Yuen Long Bistro — Restaurant in Kowloon

It is another restaurant for your quick meal in the middle of your busy Tsimshatsui journey. All dishes were served within minutes, quick, but the quality was not that enjoyable. Restaurant hall was big, you may get your seat in any time, and staffs are serving in fair manner. I tried chicken steak with ramen, porkchop with ramen and porkchop with udong. Chicken was OK, but porkchop was not that good, ramen was less than average and udong, we could not finish.

This restaurant specialize in pork chop, quite juicy and rather "thick", the attempt to create food from different culture fell short!! Even milk tea tastes flat, HK's signature Satay beef noodles can only be help by ordering Japanese instant Ramen to spice it up. Beef is OK n not chewy. Toast comes in good size, some serve with garlic butter. Unfortunately it sit idle inside kitchen for a bit too long, not crispy, feel sorry for all that work and fail...

This bistro is a typical Hong Kong tea cafe and is popular during the day time. I think a lot of dishes look tasty and we were unlucky with our choice. We got a pork burger with homemade sauce but the sauce was very unpleasant. It is supposed to be a wasabi mayo but the balance was severely off.
