Woosung Street Temporary Cooked Food Hawker Bazaar — Restaurant in Kowloon

Nice local place popular amongst locals mainly. There are cockroaches roaming around your feet while you eat and the place doesn't look very hygienic (tables and chairs are sticky).

Staff doesn't speak much English but we were able to communicate, since they had an English menu. Staff is always very quick to communicate and serve, because the place is super packed.

We wanted to try this hawker style food center, but unfortunately, our experience is bad. The man who served us was very rude. We asked for 2 more chopsticks as there were only 4 chopsticks in the table, but there were six of us. He gave the chopstick but took 4 of the cups for water. We are not sure why he was like that, or it is maybe they were closing as it was around 11pm almost their closing time, and we ordered a lot of dishes. You can have a proper Hong Kong street food experience here. I would visit here in the evening when the picture is complete with traffic, noise, heat and nightlife. The ambience definitely immerses you into the street scene and best soaked up with the street food. You'll get ushered and sat at small tables on stools.
