One of the best pan fried dumplings in Shanghai! Every bite of each dumpling contained the umami from the meat and oozes out delicious overflowing soup that keeps pulling me towards one more bite. We ordered the one that contains the 3 varieties of the pan fried dumplings. The pork one was the best among all but the salted vegetables and the crayfish flavour were not lacking far behind. We ordered a duck blood vermicelli and a ma la noodles. The duck blood didn’t have a strong taste to it therefore it’s acceptable for me as personally I like the mild taste of it mixed with the soup. Not great for those who liked the overwhelming taste of duck blood but well balanced for those who just like a hint of it to go with the vermicelli. The ma la noodles was slightly spicy but quite delicious as it was not oily and the noodles were well coated with the sauce. But overall I would suggest just ordering the pan fried dumplings will do. They were awesome in my opinion and I will definitely visit them again and have few more plates of the dumplings! The service there was fast but not exactly friendly. We had to find our own seats which was quite difficult as the restaurant was kind of small therefore the spacing was tight for both the walkways and the seats in between customers having their meals as well. But that certainly won’t stop me from having their pan fried dumplings! Just have to visit them during non peak...
