I asked for a half bottle of aguardiente as it's shown on the menu. They said they don't have it right now but can bring from the next store. I specifically asked if that's going to be the same price and they said yeah don't worry. When the bill arrived, the other store charged %25 extra for the aguardiente. I told them that we agreed it will be the same price but the staff just changed their words and saying no its the price of the other store, which I had never been informed although I asked.
In addition, I chose the foods specifically without cilantro in the menu, but they basically don't follow their menu and just add cilantro on the top of everything. When I told the staff that you didn't write there is cilantro on Edamame, they said OK we will change your plate so I got happy. However, what they brought me back was tasting still only cilantro even after they removed the cilantro from it. I told it to the staff, and she said meehh come on and went away.
I never make reviews, but I got highly disappointed after this meal. I even told the staff this is not fair for your clients, they just ran away and avoided any further conversation/explanation. Be careful with every detail of your order, don't get into a...

Dim Sum Records has to be one of the most bafflingly overrated restaurants in Medellín. The food was absolutely disgusting. The flavors didn’t blend, they clashed, violently. It was like someone threw a bunch of random spices into a pot without any understanding of balance, harmony, or actual Asian cuisine. You could taste each raw element separately, and none of them should have made it past the test kitchen, if there even was one.
Honestly, the food tasted like it came from the worst kind of school canteen or a budget airline meal tray that’s been reheated too many times. This isn’t Chinese. It’s not Korean. It’s not even fusion. It’s just a bad imitation by people who clearly have never experienced authentic Asian food in any form.
There are plenty of genuinely great Asian restaurants in Medellín that are rated lower than this place, which is wild. I can only assume this rating is artificially inflated, because anyone who thinks this food is good either hasn't had real Asian food before or is lying.
Do yourself a favor: skip the hype, skip the records, skip the disappointment. You've...
Read moreThe negative reviews about this place are right:
The food here tastes like “Asian” food much in the same way that a LaCroix tastes like any fruit. It’s like an idea of Asian food created by someone who’s only experience with it is watching Kung Fu movies.
I got one of the combos: chicken & coconut dumplings (is it Chinese, Thai, Korean? No one knows!) And the Stir fry with the pork belly. The main flavors in the stir fry were just… sugar? I don’t really understand why it was so sweet like a dessert.
I ask for a side of chili flakes and didn’t notice they were filled with bugs until I covered my stir fry in it.
Thankfully the staff was very understanding and comped the dish for me and gave me the chicken baos instead for free (the service was fine and they were very kind). But the baos are just way too sweet I really don’t understand.
Very disappointing to say the least! I’m seriously baffled this place is so highly rated. I think the people who rate this place highly are either paid actors or people who have never tasted any authentic flavors from any...
