Pumparela Gelateria — Restaurant in Grad Split

This guy down Calvin Simpson is really not correct person . It seems he likes to speak everything but the truth.Ice cream are the best we ever tried and the best in this Dalmatia region.I spend a lot of time in Austria and even there,where they have good ice cream and gelato, this one is better than all.I tried in Hvar this sommer ,in Dubrovnik ( the worst ever),in Gradac and nowhere was like that good.I had many friends with me,from Austria ,Germany ,Serbia and Izrael and each of them said just , WOW! This year whenever I was in Split,each day I went to try new taste.The texture or chocolate one and the colour and taste I am sure he will not try like that one,so,so special.Almost all are creamy except orange,strawberry ,forest fruits and lemon..as to my memory. Other ones are creamy.I never tried before ricotta fig gelato. So,if all those were bad,than no words.Taste and combinations can be that I like more and less but about quality and raw material, I just put my hat...

A jewel this place. We had the dark chocolate with salt and it was just amazing. What makes this ice cream much better is the cone. They do it themselves, and you receive it still warm, what makes the experience super different. The price is more than fair for the quality 2.80€ We could go everyday to this place!!

Edit As we loved the place we went back again. Unfortunately the last two times they gave us the cheap cone as the "special one" is only for the ones who order two flavors. I would prefer to pay a couple of cents more and have the warm...
